This sort of revisionist history bothers me. Weak Denver team??? Peyton Manning broke the all time TDs in a season record that year with 55 passing TDs. That Denver team won 13 games and destroyed the patriots and several good teams in the playoffs that year in 2013. That broncos team was a juggernaut but ran into the Seahawks legion of boom defense and got destroyed. People do this all the time where they downplay certain teams to take credit away from the winning team. I can already see if Dak gets to a SB ppl gonna start discrediting the accomplishment because of a “weak nfc” and all this other silliness.
Yeah, that Denver team broke all kinds of records. Reminded me of that Washington team back in '83 before they were taken out by the Raiders. But you could see it coming. I'm not trying to downplay Denver, just pointing out my observations of that season.

That year the AFC really didn't have a lot of good defenses. And Denver played the defenseless NFCE. Denver basically played the same D all year, until the playoffs. And especially in the SB. I could see it coming from a mile away. But Denver did have one of the more impressive offenses given the circumstances.

I have my doubts that Jerry has the guts to let him walk.
You heard the Booooooos and saw the garbage raining down.
Time has worked against Prescott and the final cherry on the cake will be this coming season which will make Jerry's decision an easy one.
BOO BOO BOO BOO........Dak don't sweat you got enough cash to last a lifetime!!!! :muttley: .......you know like winning the Lotto or something.

Just have a feeling Jerry can't wait as even he stated he overpaid and knows the Politics of the situation pushed his hand in giving inepto Dak that contract.
Jerry and the true fan based have paid their dues for the Prescott experiment......ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!
Something must be done. I enjoy watching the Cowboys in the regular season but I feel like I'm watching a 5-12 team in the playoffs. Jerry is an idiot! I'm concerned this team is probably going to do something stupid like extend Dak.

How lucky can # 4 be?
Even that injury worked in his favor as he was headed for a 1-4 start.
The injury produced the massive pity effect add to that the politics of the situation which forced poor Jerry (LOL) to give inepto that massive underserving deal which by the way also destroyed the QB market in the NFL.
I will be very surprised if Prescott is even offered an extension and if in fact, it does occur on a personal note I am done with this team.
Prescott is just a product of the worst team management the NFL has to offer.
Blue Label anyone?????

At this point we can all forget being concerned and just accept that it's going to happen. I wouldn't and really hope I'm wrong. But there is very little chance he doesn't. That cap hit next year is too big.

If they extend him it will probably put me over the edge of being a fan. I'm already teetering on the edge with disgust. I really can't control how I feel but I am concerned I will forever hate the team I grew up loving and cheering for.

I’m not there yet but a dumb Dak extension may put me over the edge. I fill for the first time, we are as close as we’ve been in a long time except the QB position. We’ll never win a SB with dumbo under center.

Dak Prescott Doubters? Only Cowboys Super Bowl Can Silence Them - ESPN

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has his fair share of detractors, and former Steelers star Ryan Clark says that he will never silence them until that elusive Lombardi trophy is won.
Few players in the NFL divide opinion quite like Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Having been in the league since 2016, Dak has generally put up big numbers but has come up short in the postseason, most recently in back-to-back seasons against the San Francisco 49ers.

Prescott has his fair share of doubters who think he will never lead Dallas to Super Bowl glory. Former Pittsburgh Steelers star Ryan Clark says Prescott's doubters will only be silenced once a Super Bowl is won.

"Doubters won't be silenced," Clark said on ESPN's GetUp. "If you doubt him, you doubt him. Nothing's going to change that. These are the doubters that say Dak Prescott can't be a Super Bowl-caliber or Super Bowl-winning quarterback."

After leading the NFL in interceptions last season with 15, many now see Dak as a "turnover machine," despite being relatively careful with the football throughout his career.
The bar is lower. If Dak has another winning season (3 in a row) and gets to a Conference championship game he would have accomplished what was normal when the Arlington Jonesboys were the Dallas Cowboys.

What will be your next excuse WHEN he doesn’t get there?
Lets find out. I'll be here when the playoffs come. I have a feeling when he does get there you will be gone scurrying under whatever rock you came from with a bunch of excuses.

You said this same thing before he got his last extension. Please be a man of your word this time and actually follow through with your threat.

Dude. It is like you have not absorbed anything from watching Jerry Jones and the quarterback position over the past 34 years.

Just as @Bobhaze has already illustrated so well. People do not normally think like Jones. However, you might scout out a few other teams if you REALLY believe you know Jones.

You're stating falsehoods again.
Find me a post when I stated the above prior to his last contract.
In the meantime pucker up buttercup as Sept. is just around the corner and your boy is playing for his job.
