Well, duh. Welcome to the high standards of the quarterback position for the Dallas Cowboys.
Don't like it? Join the Cleveland Browns or Detroit Lions where being a stat warrior is the expectation ceiling for their fans.

Showed me what?

Did you happen to find one person that did that? A microscopic dot. Then you got a HUGE paint brush out coloring "his doubters" as if it's some huge group. You do this to rationalize your trolling agenda.

It's a lie. I even showed YOU several news outlets saying how bad Tampa was. I mean...8-9...is BAD. I can re-show you those if I must. (well maybe I won't waste my time...I ALREADY DID IT..

Now...YOU show me all the "Dak Doubters" who said "Bucs are bad" but had them winning.

Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News: Buccaneers 24-20

The Cowboys have marched sloppily into the playoffs with Dak Prescott continuing his interception streak. They have become dependent on playing on a lead so they can get their running game rolling and tee off with their pass rush. They have the capacity to pour it on and run away, but close games aren't their strength.

Cowboys are closer to the Browns and Lions than they are the Chiefs the past 27 years…..

Honestly I think this could be said of many more QB's than Dak...

Allen, Lawrence, Burrow, Herbert, Tua, and Jackson to name a few
Maybe. But it's said more about Cowboys quarterbacks because ...

a. We've been to multiple Super Bowls throughout the years, so expectations have been elevated to Super Bowl or bust,
b. We've been to Super Bowls with multiple quarterbacks (Staubach and Aikman), so the expectation is that the truly great Cowboys quarterbacks get to the Super Bowl,
c. We expect Cowboys quarterbacks to get to the Super Bowl quickly. Staubach did it two years (?) after his naval commitment was over, and he could join the Cowboys; Aikman did it in four. Dak is going into his seventh year without so much as an NFC Championship appearance.
d. We expect Cowboys quarterbacks to create lore while they march through the playoffs and Super Bowl, i.e., The Hail Mary, Aikman to Harper to seal the 92 NFC Championship win over the 49ers; Super Bowl MVP for Aikman.

I don't think the quarterbacks you named or their franchises have as lofty expectations fans and critics place on the Cowboys and their quarterbacks. That's why they receive greater praise when they win the Super Bowl or fall short getting there.

I personally thought Tony Romo was a very good quarterback. He wasn't primarily the blame of the playoff loss to the Giants in 2008 (see Crayton fumble, stopping his route on the end zone interception to seal the game for the Giants).

But he was the quarterback of the Dallas freaking Cowboys, and their loss is his loss and his blame. Don't like it? A Burger King is right around the corner, and they'll let you flip burgers and call the shots. Have it your way. ;)

But not in popularity, which is in large part due to their traditional success in the playoffs and Super Bowl appearances.
Oddly and strangely, that popularity isn't waning even if we haven't sniffed a Super Bowl in nearly 30 years.

Wait...so you weren;t talking about people HERE...when you said thisi:
Soon as the Buccs game happened his doubters changed the narrative and talked about how bad the Buccs were even though they Had Buccs winning.
You were talking about ...Sporting News?

LOL...and it's ME that's delusional?

Come on...a kid in his mom's basement trolling people SHOULD be able to do better than that.

Yeah, he'll be in the same list as the other HOF QBs like Jeff Hostetler, Flacco, Dilfer, Doug Williams, Brad Johnson, etc... you know all those one time SB winners. I think if hades freezes over, and the Cowboys actually win a SB it will be because the defense carried them over the finish line just like those other QBs.....sad to break it to you.

You're stating falsehoods again.
Find me a post when I stated the above prior to his last contract.
In the meantime pucker up buttercup as Sept. is just around the corner and your boy is playing for his job.

Lol you know you deleted the post. You really have no honor as a man. Dozens of posters saw you create the thread and now you pretend you never did. That’s really sad.

Craig Morton also QB'ed the Cowboys to a Super Bowl (the loss to the Colts in SB V) in his fifth season.
