Honestly I think this could be said of many more QB's than Dak...

Allen, Lawrence, Burrow, Herbert, Tua, and Jackson to name a few

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has his fair share of detractors, and former Steelers star Ryan Clark says that he will never silence them until that elusive Lombardi trophy is won.
Few players in the NFL divide opinion quite like Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Having been in the league since 2016, Dak has generally put up big numbers but has come up short in the postseason, most recently in back-to-back seasons against the San Francisco 49ers.

Prescott has his fair share of doubters who think he will never lead Dallas to Super Bowl glory. Former Pittsburgh Steelers star Ryan Clark says Prescott's doubters will only be silenced once a Super Bowl is won.

"Doubters won't be silenced," Clark said on ESPN's GetUp. "If you doubt him, you doubt him. Nothing's going to change that. These are the doubters that say Dak Prescott can't be a Super Bowl-caliber or Super Bowl-winning quarterback."

After leading the NFL in interceptions last season with 15, many now see Dak as a "turnover machine," despite being relatively careful with the football throughout his career.

Dak has brought the division on himself. His play may equal "average" or ...okay...better. But such a big swing in performances will entice doubters.

You just can;t "choke" in the way he has at the critical moments.

"but hey Steve....it's a team game and other people choke". Sure...like Diggs did. But they aren't the alleged LEADER that is supposed to LEAD the team to victory.

My advice is to just play average more consistently. Like 2016. Tighten up that pendulum swing, and there will be less division.

Anyone being honest will answer no. Why would it be any different with Dak?

If he is just a member of a winning team, it shouldn't change the perception. He needs to show he's a driving force int he success to change the perception, Just like those other QB's.

Surely the Bucc's game blows that argument out of the water, there was near (or as near as you're going to get) universal praise for Dak and the vast majority of fans gave him the credit for the win. However a week later, with ball in hand, he was less than average which most fans acknowledge.

From where i'm sitting (on the fence apart from his inability to step up when the clock's ticking) it appears that never in the field of human conflict were so many excuses made for one player and please dont say he needs weapons as the repost is maybe he should concede a less than elite contract which befits his abilities and worth to the team.

Lets be fair, if we were in the AFC we wouldnt be having this discussion as I doubt we'd be staying afloat with 'near' annual play-offs.

Soon as the Buccs game happened his doubters changed the narrative and talked about how bad the Buccs were even though they Had Buccs winning.

You've a slanted perspective. It appears you see trolls wherever you go. Maybe rather than conversing with the extremists, just ignore them.

Now if you're calling fan 'DOUBTERS' that's a different story. The two loses to the 49ers, coupled with his poor >2min Rating when trailing added to the fact that a high proportion of the 2022 INT's came on 3rd Down (and/or long yardage) does appear to indicate fans may well be correct to doubt his abilities when pressurized.

It's a lie. I even showed YOU several news outlets saying how bad Tampa was. I mean...8-9...is BAD. I can re-show you those if I must. (well maybe I won't waste my time...I ALREADY DID IT..

Now...YOU show me all the "Dak Doubters" who said "Bucs are bad" but had them winning.

He takes...MAYBE...a couple people....then acts like "everyone" did it. If he didn't grossly exaggerate, he wouldn't be able to do his crusade trolling gimmick for self affirmation.
