The only I see the Cowboys could make it to a SB is if the defense can shut out all the teams in the playoffs while Dak stumbles around and leads the Cowboys to 3 or 4 field goals. What should happen is a joint effort where Dak leads the Cowboys to 24 points while the defense holds opponents to 17 or less.

Well Dak has never played a playoff game without a TD, so at least say "While he stumbles around scoring a td" the playoff points the defense has allowed:

Gonna tell you this…it’s not gonna end with Dak. It’s a never ending cycle. Romo had the same impact.

A SB win will still not silence them. They will have their reasons why the TEAM won and not Dak. As opposed to if they lose, it would be Dak's fault.

some will argue anybody could win with that team. they would claim rush could have done it, rush was 5-1. they would argue, why we paid 40M to a QB where we could have had another.

Bingo.. At this point people are dug in on the whole deal and will never admit they were wrong. He will either get to a Super Bowl or he won't. But either way it will not ALL be because of him.. though people on both sides will call it that way..

Show me he can improve his 55 Rating in a clutch scenario in the playoffs then I'm happy to extend....until then he'll always be a choker when the games on him to step up.

Yeah 2014, 2016, 2021, and 2022 could have won the Superbowl at the end of the season. If this team does not make to the divisional round everyone (Joneses included) need to be gone. Easily a top 3 team in the NFC talent wise.

I think not leading the league in INTs and Pick6's despite missing a 3rd of the season would go a long way to toning down his critics.

But c'mon....let's not be too big of a baby about having "critics".

Dan Marino and Aaron Rogers had / has plenty of critics for example.

But if dak can get to the middle of the pack on game killing INTs....that would help him a lot

he has to get back to pre 2022 interception levels. which was most of his career.
