The "Team" held the Niners to 23 and 19 pts consecutive years in 2 playoff game losses.
Any idea what Dak was doing??????

Ya didn't think so.......
Usually when someone says a defense holds a team under a certain amount of points, its under 10.

Saying a team being "held" to 23 and 19 just sounds like a reach to fit a narrative... but I expect that from you, so carry on.

Anger ! No No No lil boy, I don't get angry at a Dogg for barking. I don't get angry about much. Waste of time

I'm curious, what do I have to be angry about ? My Qb is top ten, my team is one of the best 8 teams in the league last season, this year they've improved both defensively and offensively.

My appreciative nature tends to make grateful.

Let's Go Cowboys
Nice bait

thats an odd thing for a Cowboys fan to hope for...
There is quite the diff between speculating and hoping. As a Deek lover you are stretching speculation to fit your narrative and seek to inpugn me loyalty, Kermit. Don't do it again.

Dak Prescott Doubters? Only Cowboys Super Bowl Can Silence Them - ESPN

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has his fair share of detractors, and former Steelers star Ryan Clark says that he will never silence them until that elusive Lombardi trophy is won.
Few players in the NFL divide opinion quite like Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Having been in the league since 2016, Dak has generally put up big numbers but has come up short in the postseason, most recently in back-to-back seasons against the San Francisco 49ers.

Prescott has his fair share of doubters who think he will never lead Dallas to Super Bowl glory. Former Pittsburgh Steelers star Ryan Clark says Prescott's doubters will only be silenced once a Super Bowl is won.

"Doubters won't be silenced," Clark said on ESPN's GetUp. "If you doubt him, you doubt him. Nothing's going to change that. These are the doubters that say Dak Prescott can't be a Super Bowl-caliber or Super Bowl-winning quarterback."

After leading the NFL in interceptions last season with 15, many now see Dak as a "turnover machine," despite being relatively careful with the football throughout his career.
I would be happy with excellent, consistent play,
That's commensurate with his salary.

In the QB feuds with fans, I will admit that I think Dak gets some of the overall frustration from no Super Bowls in 30 years. Every QB is held to a higher than realistic standard, and even the great ones like Aikman were boo‘ed early and late in their careers. That’s just the way it goes for life as a QB in the NFL. It’s why they get those crazy contracts now. But yeah, I think it’s realistic to admit that the frustration with Dak is even higher because fans just want to go somewhere in the Playoffs for once.
I don't know why people think if Dallas wins a SB it somehow makes Dak a better QB. He is who he is, that's not changing. He's not getting any better. Just like Matt Stafford. He's a decent QB. The team around him vastly improved, not him.

You said he never beat good teams his whole career, playoffs included.

Do you want to make that bet. That's all I have to say until your next response.
That actually is not what I said at all. If you are going to make stuff up don't bother responding.

If he helped the team get to the SB and didn't choke in the SB but they still lost? It would silence me. If he choked in the SB, it wouldn't silence me. Heck, if he helped the team get to the NFCC and didn't choke that game, even if they lost it would silence me about him.

Yeah 2014, 2016, 2021, and 2022 could have won the Superbowl at the end of the season. If this team does not make to the divisional round everyone (Joneses included) need to be gone. Easily a top 3 team in the NF
It’s funny that when Romo was playing, most of us claimed his tenure as a failure because he seldom made the playoffs and never got beyond the divisional round of playoffs. He played with receivers TO, Miles Austin, Patrick Clayton, and others; a young TE Witten; Colombo and Flozel as his OTs before Tyron Smith in his prime; Julius Jones, Marion Barbour, and Demarco Murray at RB; defenders Marcus Spears, Jay Ratliff, DWare, Roy Williams, Terence Newman, Hamlin and others. I’m not knocking Romo. He could have won a SB with that cast (So could Marino in Miami). Sometimes it just doesn’t happen….luck, coaching, missed timing like Cabo, better opponents.

Dak is currently in that same spot. He’s had some crappy luck with poor receivers, injured OL, poor defenses, similar coaching, but he’s also played with some great rosters like this year’s roster if the OL stays healthy, but, like Romo, he has been unable to raise his level of play in the playoffs to overcome obstacles. Lots of stats, but disappointing playoffs overall. To me, they are the same QB, but if Dak ever gets the Cowboys to an NFC title game, he will move ahead of Romo. If not, just another good QB.

Despite revisionist history, both QBs have had teams with serious weaknesses at times, but both have played on rosters that were good enough if they’d been able to raise their game to a special level for a playoff run.
Romo's pass defenses were his downfall. In '14 we dominated the time of possession with Demarco and it was pitch and catch with the receivers but even if Dez's catch is ruled a TD if we are honest did anybody have the feeling we would stop Rodgers when he got the ball back?

However, I don't feel like there is a debilitating factor like that on the current team. In fact, if anything we can ride the defense now. To me it's all on Dak, there are no excuses and make no mistake, he's going to have to be mentally tough this year because after the first pick at home, you just know he's gonna hear it.

Let’s be real, Dallas has always been a little overrated the last 30 years. Neither Romo or Dak ever really had complete teams like Brady, Roslisberger, Payton Manning or Russ had in Seattle. The issue that most have with Romo and Dak is Eli winning two Super Bowls with average Giant teams. I think this is the most talented Cowboy team in the 2000s. We need to expect results.

A SB win will still not silence them. They will have their reasons why the TEAM won and not Dak. As opposed to if they lose, it would be Dak's fault.
Depends on how he played in it

should the Ravens fans given Trent Dilfer an ”atta boy“ when he went for 150 yards and 12 completions in their SB win?

please stop criticizing fellow forum members based on a hypothetical that hasn’t come close to happening……..it’s divisive and keeps fanning the flames here.

BS....it has already happened and you know it. Not from a SB game standpoint, but from many other games, and high profile games.
And you know it WILL happen if a SB appearance.

Yep and the crux of the argument is that the Rams went all-in during the last years of his 'cheap' CAP hits....that's not happening with Dak (unless we sign him until he's in his late 30's), due to the outstanding prorated bonus still left on the previous contract.

Does anyone remember when ESPN used to be good?
……..I remember when they used to actually count hockey as one of the 4 major sports

now they replaced it with the Ladies NBA and all the empty arena seats that come with it
