1. 0 TDs and 1 INT,
2. 48 yards of those coming on his dink off to end the half, in which CeeDee Lamb ran like 40 yards. A whopping 170 yards passing if you take away that meaningless catch.
Like I said before, Dak’s completion percentage has zero relevance to what I mean when I said Dak sucks against zone. He is a risk-averse, dink and dunk QB against them, meaning a bus driver. Against the Eagles, they built a huge lead by running the ball, meaning he was challenging a teams defense while building a large lead and sucked. That’s why his stats last year when down by 7 in the fourth, were pathetic, with his whopping 4.7 YPC, 0 TDs and 1 INT, before he got hurt. That’s what happens when the Cowboys avoid running the ball and put it in the hands of Dak.
Unlike dink and dunk Dak, Herbert got a TD taken away on a ticky tack, moved the ball with ease but their WR slipped in the end zone, SD basically ignored the run and was challenging the Cowboys who were playing heavy zone, with their second year QB. Dak on the other hand was dinking and dunking, but the excuses were that it was “mg design” even though he completely ignored the middle, which is generally exposed in that defense.
With Hurts, the Cowboys were pressing the WRs at the line in man coverage. With Herbert they weren’t daring to do it.
So not in anyway whatsoever did Dak outplay Herbert..
You type a bunch of words to say a lot of nothing.
