Dak doubters

Hell yeah, Dak earned his paycheck this game for sure! So did a lot of others! BAM!

You are 100% correct in this. Dak could not throw the ball this consistently well when he came into the league. I have been saying it for five years.. anyone who can't see the steady improvement in this guy has their eyes closed. My brother in law and I were watching in awe and the darts he was throwing last night.( Here in Orlando visiting family .. I forgot how much fun it is to watch games with family who loves the Cowboys as much as I do. )..

There is simply not one throw on the field I feel like Dak can't make now. In this offseason he seems to have conquered the last remaining hole in his game which was that swing pass to the backs. Up until this year I always thought those were not consistently placed.. But if I'm not mistaken no pass to the backs has hit the ground all season. NOT ONE!!! We are 15 for 15 on passes to the backs so far this year.. Please don't let me jinx it!!!
Yes he could. Total bs. He’s better for sure but was always good.

Here's the thing, y'all don't want to discuss what Dak needs to do to improve. I'd get dog piled on because I felt that Dak has needed to work on hitting receiver's in stride. Guess what he's doing this year? He's doing a much better better job and his accuracy is impressing me so far. He's clearly worked hard and it shows. He does need to work on getting rid of the ball sooner instead of taking hits. but no one wants to hear or talk about that. We just want to worship the all mighty Dak. Which is fine, he's done extremely well and should be a contender for MVP at the end of the year.

I welcome that discussion, but it would only get derailed. I have better football conversations with non-Dallas fans than here.

No it’s just what trolls said. He’s improved but that’s another thing they were wrong about.
Yeah that’s not true that it was “only trolls” who had questions about his accuracy. This Walter Football draft profile was very typical of what was being said about him by scouts. Notice that “inconsistent accuracy” is at the top of the list for flaws. I think when you garner all criticism to Dak to the “world of trolls”, not only does it kill any potentially interesting conversations fans may have about Dak, it also undermines and undercuts the hard work Dak has done to improve in areas that were questioned by scouts as a prospect.

He’s worked as hard as anyone ever has whose worn the star and we can’t let that be overshadowed by the troll wars on this board.

Dak looks great since his come back.

A few bad decisions but his accuracy has been impeccable.

I wonder if last year on the sidelines observing and studying has been helpful.

He is now an asset, not a liability. He can win us games we’d otherwise lose. and not just drive the bus.
You're exactly right. Dak even said as much during the post-game media interview. He did say last year's injury was actually a blessing in several ways, especially since it forced him to study the game even more and how he could get better...which clearly we see he now has.

Love the Foo Fighters.

Some have said several times, he is not giving up on plays soon enough right now, when he breaks the pocket it needs to be at best a completion or at worst a fan catch moment...not a sack.

How is a team with Cox, Slay, Hargrave, Ertz, Johnson, Kelce, and Smith not talented? Their organization is just in a funk and they're badly put together. But I don't think they're much less talented than we are, sans their QB who is definitely not good.

Exactly, talent don't matter if the players don't care and the organization is in a funk. Dak is not going up against an elite QB or even an average one. Dak had never not had talent in any given year. The Cowboys have always been stack and he constantly under achieve. This year we got Parson and Diggs is a stud and this Cowboys team is beyond stack. However know one would know who he is if he on on the Eagles or the Lions or any other poverty franchise.

Tonight he did what was expected considering the Eagles are a garbage team. Anything less would be disappointing. He doesn't get any praise for doing what is expected.

Oh hell, another one.

I hope Dak spends his entire career looking to improve as a player and a QB. There will always be things guys can work on and improve on. Right now he looks as if he has complete control of this offense. I actually think missing the time he did last season gave him the chance to develop the mental side of the game, not glad he got hurt but I think he made the most of his time by studying defense.

sure was a ton of #4 jerseys along with old JS 54 jerseys left at academy..none of anyone else...i wanted a Parsons 11 in white and nothign..no diggs no zeke LMAO:lmao2::popcorn:

ended up with a 21 shirt instead..time to scour the interweb to get an 11 in white..hard to find :)

Dak has been a accurate QB for a few years. That whole "doesn't hit a receiver in stride" is silly. Always has been.

fwiw

I think his overall mechanics are much improved.
I also think he's improved greatly on not waiting for a player to get open, but throwing with anticipation more often.
He's better now, and with his work ethic, still has room to grow.
