Pickens needs eyes behind his head, but Dak who is actually watching the play has no responsibility. Or do you expect Pickens to turn around, look at the DB, then adjust to make sure the CB can’t position himself to make a play on the balm, then Pickens is also supposed to catch it?Again, it was a slant that was primary route. He hits his drop and let's go there was at least 2 yards of separation there when he let it go. Pickens has got to expect the defender will ve coming, he coulld have attacked the ball more.
It was a great defensive play, not fault of Dak.
Dak stared him down. By the time Pickens reached where Dak placed the ball, the CB was already breaking, hit it and it was an INT,
At minimum, just say the DB made a great play. Blaming Pickens is asinine.
