Finally seeing the light my bro
I’ve been saying all off-season and season. If he doesn’t lead us to at least an NFCCG it’s time to start looking at other options. Problem is. Our front office doesn’t admit mistakes. So regardless of seeing the light. We’re stuck with Dak.

No doubt about that. I’ve said that same thing numerous times myself. But I’d rather keep looking for that guy rather than settling for one that’s not earning what he’s costing the team.

If you don't believe this team can win a championship with him at QB I completely understand the logic.

I think he's good enough to get it done so rather than risk another Quincy Carter era of Cowboys football I'd stand pat and keep building. We can and continue to keep building even with the massive contract.

But it's been 7 year now. How much longer do you stick with a average QB that has not really done anything? What, 5, 6, 7 more years? There comes a time when you really need to change gears even if it means starting all over.

Stash brought up a good example with Hurts over Wentz and now look at them.

We are 10-3. The conversation is premature. I'm good with drafting arm talent regularly, though.

Clearly these media members hate Dak and that hate is entirely founded in reasons that have nothing to do with football.

Because there is no legitimate criticism to be had about Dak that's truly performance based. It's all dog whistles and such

Ive read all about it from a few different posters on this forum so I figure it has to be true. Just ignore it, along with Daks sketchy play

All criticism of dak is agenda driven. Nothing to see here. Move along

Spotlight is on him.

Prescot should because he was flat out horrible for roughly 57 minutes against a DOUBLE DIGIT DOG that should have been a cake walk for him and his mates! Dam tired of Prescot and all these slow starts that are affecting this team in a major way. Prescot should go out and purchase Rush the most expensive truck he can buy, because if it had not been for Prescot's injury and Rush's ability to right the ship there is no way in hell that the Boys would have the winning record that they have if Prescot hadn't got injured! Rush saved Prescot's butt this year, now it's up to Prescot to figure out how to fit what is ailing his game and the slow starts!!!!!!!!

That's what happens when you play the most high profile position in professional sports and you struggle.

There is an easy solution. Play better.

Yup, I said it before, all Dak has to do to shut people up is keep winning; that of course includes winning in the playoffs.

I worry how dak would take it...he showed some immaturity at the end of last season that I did not expect...regardless they need to have a solid succession plan and be deliberate
How did he act when they got Andy Dalton? Was he "immature"?

I'm referring to how he responded after the playoff game condoning the fan behavior towards the referees...I think moat of us were caught off guard on that and it showed a lack of maturity that I didn't expect from him

Then why are you here reading this? Go color some cartoons or something. lol

I’m here like a normal COWBOY fan, for the many varied topics. It’s not the Dak Prescott Fan Forum, it’s the Dallas Cowboy fan forum. Why don’t YOU go color some Dak coloring books?

Are there better options? Of course, and Dallas should continue the search. In the meantime, what good does it do to cry about it nonstop? There’s a long list of crappy QB’s that have won, or at least played in, Super Bowls.

I’d put Dak in the 10-15 group.

I mean I guess....40 and 50 year old fans said the same stuff about the refs and I Don't think id' call it immature. Got caught up in a vulnerable moment.

I expected him to act like the leader I thought he was and take accountability for the loss then denounce the way the fans acted…that’s how I thought he would react but he didn’t. It’s not the end of the world and I still think he’s got great leadership traits but that one surprised me and many of us.

whether you want to call it a different word thanmaturity doesn’t really change the fact that he did not behave to the level that many expected and that is what leads me to question how he would react in the situation were now discussing.

It comes with being the QB of America's Team.

KM needs to be scrutinized as well for they option concept he keeps throwing out there.

I’m giving him the rest of this season to change my mind, but if I had to make a decision today based on contract vs performance?

I’m starting to look into other options.
Same here. I was a big Dak fan his first 6 years but at some point he has to make the jump and do something in the playoffs. I'm still not over that playoff game last year.

Sharepe "I'm not sure of Jerry's end game."

Uh, his end game is clear. It's to keep the camera and mic on himself. He is a narcissist and he will do anything to keep the attention on himself. He doesn't care a lick about winning if he cannot be the center of attention.
