and this thread has been derailed lol.
We had the most fgs missed in the league last season. Football is a game of inches if you don't think 340 yards is a lot I don't know what to tell you. Who's to say those yards don't help in the redzone. Yes our redzone conversion was average but we also averaged 3 offensive tds a game which was 5th in the nfl. The offense was never the problem last season and our offense had zero assistance from the other 2 facets of the game. I now see why I have you on ignore.that has nothing to do with the DRIVE itself... even if it’s 1 billion yards over the season somehow magically, you still got two yards to go on each drive to score. Dallas has 170 drives to KCs 158 and still put up less points than KC in the red zone, meaning they had more chances.
If you want to make a better argument about special teams talk about missed FGs... but half of the NFL had kicker issues. The Patriots had to go and get Folk after their kicker got hurt.
All they did in their circles is ask for a hand towel.Theyve talked in so many circles now they will turn on McCarthy and be screaming for Garrett to come back.
Damn....that's quite a bit property (LOL) for a house. I'm guessing a min 5-10 acres......
I think this is his house.
Plenty of property to build a practice field

The benefit of the Cowboys new headquarters is that Collin and Denton counties just to the north up the tollway have to very spacious properties. Frisco is booming and Prospect (where Dak lives) is next in line.
looks like grass.Haven’t read it all.
Did he build grass or artificial?

Dak had 2 bad games last year. NE and Philly.
a team has to play good enough to overcome any bad calls in a game and win.In fairness, who knows what'd have happened if those horrendous tripping calls weren't called? Maybe we win that game and are having a different discussion.

In the last 2 min of the game it is another story though.
But you can make excuses for all the losses, what about the other 7 losses, what are the excuses for those?
And if your saying 1 more win and dallas goes to playoffs, lol they would have been knocked out first game just like phil was.
there wasnt a playoff caliber team in the east last year.
Well in both the tripping calls, our OL did raise his leg , and when refs see that they may call tripping, especially if a DL goes down.I agree with all of that. I'm just pointing out that we had a few horrendous calls to against us in the Patriots game.

I think the weather was dallas worst enemy that day.
Dallas players prefer playing in a dome lol or if outside, it needs to be a pretty day and not too cold lol.
I bet if you looked at their record last 4 years for games outside in cold or rain, it would be pretty bad.
Just imagine how good Amari's stats would be playing on that home field....
With a QB like Mahomes, I'm not surprised that KC scored better from the red zone than us, they won the Super Bowl, and they didn't win it by not being able to score from the red zone. Nobody I know of is trying to put Dak in the same class with Patrick Mahomes, (with the possible exception of Dak's agent) so comparing their red zone scoring percentage would seem rather pointless.
In fact I was not at all happy with our scoring percentage from the red zone last year, and now that we have a real HC, I expect to see Mike McCarthy correct that issue this year.

One thing I'm gonna agree w you on is this MFG factor. We had the most fgs missed in the league last season. This is one of Garrett's flaws, that he had the whole time as HC.4. Again excuses. Adam Viniateri was 17/25, meaning his percentages were worse than Maher. Maher has 30 chances to kick FGs. SFs kicker was 23/31. There were ten field goal kickers that has more attempts then Maher. Maher was also asked o kick more from fifty yards out, where four of his 8 attempts out of his ten total misses occurred. He was also the only kicker that kicked over 60 yards, meaning he hit a 63 yarder to save one of Dallas drive. The closest FG after that was 58 yards. There was only one kicker who had more kicks from 50 yards out than Maher at 11 and two others had 8, to tie Maher. The demands of Maher kicking linger field goals was pretty much among the highest in the league.
