Unfortunately, the whole eye test thing isn't always used at the professional level. I've never heard of someone using the "eye test" while negotiating for a new contract.

You know what they use in negotiations?? Stats/production. It appears that stats don't matter for Dak, but other quarterbacks can use them. The man is definitely not elite, but has proven to be a top 10 quarterback most of his career by PRODUCTION.

Dak definitely has to improve on a few things, no doubt. But the man has produced in the NFL alot better than other quarterbacks that was drafted rounds higher before he was.

Last thing about that "eye test". The eye test don't get players and coaches inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.... statistics/production does.

The only people that talk about "eye test" are the people that cant backup their stance with the facts.

Anyone who actually uses "eye test" on Dak would see a top 10 QB no question about it.

Well sure. I don't hate Dak. But I know the QB that he is. If we get to a SB it's going to be a team effort. Similar to the 49ers, the Eagles with Foles, or the Rams with Goff. Dak is a good quarterback. But don't expect him to be a Tony Romo where he can sometimes win with his arm. That's never going to happen with this QB.

Meh, that Seattle playoff game comes to mind. Dak bulldozing his way into the endzone was just as impressive. As much as I loved Romo he consistently underperformed in the playoffs. Dak has already been a better playoff qb, and that's not saying much.

I agree he's not going to single handedly take over, but think he's capable of being the spark. This season WITHOUT KM will tell us a lot about who he is.
