Unfortunately, the whole eye test thing isn't always used at the professional level. I've never heard of someone using the "eye test" while negotiating for a new contract.

You know what they use in negotiations?? Stats/production. It appears that stats don't matter for Dak, but other quarterbacks can use them. The man is definitely not elite, but has proven to be a top 10 quarterback most of his career by PRODUCTION.

Dak definitely has to improve on a few things, no doubt. But the man has produced in the NFL alot better than other quarterbacks that was drafted rounds higher before he was.

Last thing about that "eye test". The eye test don't get players and coaches inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.... statistics/production does.

So...why even watch if you don't use "the eye test". Just check the stat column to enjoy football?

Sort of a useless post, Dak could throw for 6,000 yards, 75 tds and no ints, and if the Cowboys don't win the SB, it'll still be his fault to those who simply don't like Dak.

Every team is going to be in a late game situation where you have to make a drive to come back and either tie or win. It happens all the time. I always thought it was possible with Romo.
