To me this is worse than all the interceptions he has thrown and all the games he has blown. He has become a disgrace and is hurting the brand. At what point does the economic impact outweigh his paycheck and is that when he will finally be cut. I think Jerry could get him to waive his trade clause if he sits dak down and shows him the harm he is doing to the brand beyond that I would cut him and eat the dead cap.
It just goes to show you how many ignorant people there are in this country. They think it’s a one-man show.

I find the joke in regard to the Cowboys resides in the disappointed fans of this team who look but don't see.

Dak did not give away points by the first pick. There was a great deal of field left before it could be assumed Dallas would have scored. So much so that the Cowboys were in the shadow of their own goal. And with the fans who continually suggest Dak is crapola on a swizzle stick, to assume he would have driven the field and scored sort of contradicts your bias.

There is a high probability he gave up three points on the second pick. I don't believe anyone could assume more than three.

But where I find the indigestion of the average fan bemoaning Dak's career as high comedy is the fact that once Pollard was injured, the team became one dimensional. That fact is ignored, perhaps because it doesn't fit with the narrative of the discontented. Yet it remains the elephant in the room.

Jerry Jones learned nothing from his antics the year he gave away a first round pick to acquire Cooper. That offense needed a quality receiver, and was failing at every turn. Enter Cooper and the offense took a quantum leap for the rest of that year. Then Jones traded away Cooper last off season, which put the receiving corps at, or near the same level which inspired him to over pay for Cooper.

Now merge that with the fact the offensive line was a patchwork, where parts were moved out of their normal positions. One of the best run blockers was injured for the season, and the line became a catch as catch can cocktail. Facing one of the best defensive lines in the 2022/2023 season, the Dallas line was holding on with fingernails most of the game.

Once you mix in the Pollard injury, Dallas did not have the playmakers to score with the 9ers. Nor the line to protect the pocket. It also allowed the 9ers to focus on the passing game since the Dallas line couldn't block a group of cub scouts from an ice cream truck at that point.

Reducing this loss down to one player tells me either your bias has infused your emotions to the point rationality and analysis have been tossed out the window for the Dak Sucks docket bandaid. Or perhaps you guys don't have a deeper understanding of how this game works, and that the task of the opposing defense is to stifle the success of our team's playmakers.

I'm not certain I believe most of you guys don't understand the game and its inner working.

Ok so you think one man can’t make a difference. Explain Tom Landry. The players came and went but for 20 straight years they made the playoffs. Than qb’s how about Tom Brady and now mahomes. This is the chiefs fifth str8 title game. Only three players on the chiefs roster has been there the entire five years. They keep winning

It’s not the points. It’s the increased snaps the defense had to take cuz of his turnovers. It let them a defense that only had five days off to become more tired than they needed too

His first int. Put the defense on the field for an 8 additional snaps. The second another 8. Plus the yards and the extra effort they had to put out to stop them from scoring on a short field. Look pollard gets injured. You’re on the 18 yards line bro. You got 2nd and 2 and you throw an int. All the man had to do is tuck and run. That is inexcusable. Jimmy would have benched him on the spot

Even though it will be difficult to sign free agents, because of cap restraints, what free agent would want to come here having Dak as your QB?
The arrow is definitely pointing down on this franchise.
This might be the lowest point being a Cowboy’s fan. At least for me it is.

I would cut him and eat the cap space even if it meant we could only have 22 man roster.
I am so done with this clown.
Would be a horrible move, and not one that is realistic, you cannot just cut Dak, it is not that simple.
Jerry can play hard ball and roll the dice that Dak would agree to change the language in his contract, but Dak would have to initiate that with his agent, not going to happen.
The only way Dak would do that is if the Cowboys made a major move to replace him with a rook and throw Dak on the bench and put him into a position of embarrassment which again is not going to happen.
Considering Cowboys current draft position, they would be forfeiting several years of draft capital if they believe that a star QB1 is within their grasp in this year's draft and are willing to maneuver up to obtain that player, in order to put Dak into that situation, eat the cap hit if Dak is truly willing to ride the bench and refuse to be traded.
Thats the gamble that Jerry must make, and Im not so sure Dak would change anything, renegotiate anything, and just suck it up knowing what he already knows enough about himself, sit on the bench and take the money while the entire team struggles absorbing his huge cap, man has thick skin and doesn't care.
I honestly doubt that scenario has a chance of playing out, and we will carry an overpaid and vastly under skilled Dak as the starter of this franchise for another 2 years minimal and remain just slightly relevant status.
Jerry and this franchise will still profit, but the fans will suffer, it's the business fellas.

Agree.......And the defense played lights out.....49ers only scored one TD and held them to FGs when they had excellent field position.....we should have won that game, Daks mistakes just magnifies the frustration....we gave up 3 and gave up 3 to 7 for ourselves on that 2nd int.....cant do that in the playoffs.

Some of you are going way overboard! Some fans here were saying the same thing about Romo when he was committing turnovers and we were coming up short in the playoffs. What’s going on right now isn’t it nearly as bad as some of you are trying to make it out to be. Everyone still thinks Dak is a good QB the Cowboys could win if he corrects some of the issues in his game and we give him more weapons. We certainly didn’t do anything to help him last offseason. We need to move on from Kellen Moore, and bolster the receiving core. We can’t depend on Michael Gallup returning to form.
Ironic part is these same types were hailing Dak's game last year as a total choke. Looking back, it wasnt a bad game. Dak plays that same game this year and we win. THIS was the horrible game.

He knew that this was going to happen to him.

If you are a bad player but want to be paid like an elite one you know that someday you will have to show what you actually are. If you cant people will judge you.

I feel no mercy for people who are greedy or suffer from a napolean complex. Well maybe for the latter ones, but only if they are self-reflexive enough to realize this as a negative character attribute. But Prescott really thinks he is another Montana.

Fake News...it's raining outside.

The Dallas Cowboys are...and Jerra knows it...but does not know it at the same time as us.
Should I go smoke some devils' weed, or play some guitar. Same thing...so far.
Cowboys on 3.
