It certainly doesnt tell the whole story but per NFL Next Gen stats the Cowboys have the 24th lowest pressure rate in the league. The other side of that is teams are also blitzing at a very low rate so when they do get pressure its typically just by rushing 4 and playing coverage.

If you have a great O LIne any decent QB will look good. So don't pay an average QB who is declining fast elite money. That contract will make it harder to rebuild.

Its just fundamental football. If you have no running game and can't pass protect well then defenses will load up the secondary, you will be under pressure and you won't have guys open.

I don't judge any QB who is playing with no running game threat, an offensive line as shaky as ours and coaching that can't scheme anyone open.

We have been spoiled since 2014. The offensive line needs to be rebuilt. To be honest, love Dak but we need a more mobile quarterback as well. The game has changed.

This place doesn’t determine how good or bad a player is if it did Jeff Heath would be in the Hall of Fame and we would’ve cut Lawrence 7 years ago.

right. it's easy (for me) to point at dak, because he's paid the most and who we NEED the most from, but man, the entire team has been terrible. and it seems like if one aspect improves it can have a very start effect on the others. not looking likely though.

It was telling to me that the worst pass rush in the league was able to get pressure. If that’s not enough to tell people what the issue is then I don’t know what will.

why? adding first and third rd picks to two all pros should have been a pretty solid unit and expecting that isn't being a homer, it's having optimism. being wrong never means you can't be disappointed. that's just a weird perspective.

how do you run a jet sweep and just not block the TE....they run zone right and the LG doesnt seal the double on the DT he helps push the centers guy into the play....this Oline has talent, they like everyone else on the team has no idea what the assignment is..the coaching has lost this team. I think MM sees it and has no idea what to do about it.

Tyler actually was in on the missed assigments yesterday, again i dont think its the talent as much as they are not mentally prepared...Steele is talent, as in he lost it all some how.
