Then you’ll find something else to ***** about. You’ll always find something and always ignore the good.
Who is this “you” you’re talking about? If you thought I was disparaging Dak in any way, boy did you read my post wrong.

Reminds me of the Romo years where perception rarely matched reality. I think Romo had a bad December in his first season, then was phenomenal in his next few Decembers and I remember Kurt Warner talking about his December struggles for 10 minutes, then ended his segment by saying, in his last 2 decembers Tony has 17tds and 2ints... LOL. Same with Dak, he played awful last year and was an INT machine, but he literally was one of the best ever at NOT throwing INTs his previous 6 years. But folks act like he's always been prone to picks. Complete BS.
It actually is like the Super Bowl teams in the 90's.

I weep that Romo didn't get a chance to play in a scheme like this, especially our 2007 or 2014 team. I love the balance, and the playcalling is top notch.
The problem with your desire here is that Romo changed the plays at the line and would have eliminated the run game altogether if he were unfettered.

Romo could throw the ball. But Romo would have needed to shackle that mindset of a gunslinger to make this offense work.

I'm not certain he was built like that.

Dak did miss an easy TD when he went to the tight end instead of seeing a very wide open Lamb in the end zone waving his hands...there was nobody around him and Dak missed that play, real bad.

Hopefully this will not spark an unnecessary Prescott defend reply.

The tight end was relatively wide open as well. It is possible Prescott would also have overthrown Lamb. More practice *should* get the timing-and-distance down for that particular play, regardless to whom Prescott targets with the pass.

If he throws that ball lower there is a good chance that it is picked off.

True, but I was surprised at how open Lamb was...by the way, did they score a TD on that series or was it a FG?

Good to see Dak go back to driving the bus instead of trying to be the hero. Playing to his talent level is refreshing hopefully he can just stay this way. If the D does their job weekly and Dak plays within himself the team will have a chance every week. What you are seeing is the BP that teams with middle road QBs take. This team can go far if Dak doesn’t get in the way.

I thought we weren't doing these threads anymore...
Could have swore I saw a stickied thread warning about it...

I will look at the play again and possibly post it later. The tight end's pattern had him running along the back of the endzone if I recall correctly. Defenders were position in front of him. Prescott correctly put air under the ball to prevent an interception underneath but his touch had too much strength.

It is possible the pass could have reached the receiver with slightly less arc that would have still been beyond the reach of the defenders situation between Prescott and the tight end.

No, what you read is that we are not allowed to mention Dak in any thread that is not about him, this thread is about him.

Yep, great insight on the situation but the question in the near future will be is it worth 50 million a year and can you afford to keep this defense intact cap-wise?
Only Jerry and Stevie can answer that, should be interesting at how they push all the money down the road

Strong defense, a balanced attack and great QB play.

Pretty much the recipe for Super Bowl success in the NFL.

He's a top 10 QB according to NFL personnel.

"Middle of the road" according to you, but nobody would ever pay you for your opinion on anything football-related. Staying in your line would be wise.

He wasn't awful at all last year.

The Cowboys were one of the highest scoring teams in the league when he was under center.

That wasn't because of Anemic Zeke.
