That was nice win yesterday. The one thing I noticed is that Dak is finally getting rid of the ball quicker. He has options and the running game is working. They don't seem so dependent on Dak making him more effective. The Cowboys are playing 49ers type football.

It's called having an actual offensive coordinator and play caller.

Dak would've been doing this a long time ago if he didn't get saddled with a trash coordinator.

I said it a million time, yards of separation matter. KM wasn't scheming this offense into good positions consistently enough.

Good to see Dak go back to driving the bus instead of trying to be the hero. Playing to his talent level is refreshing hopefully he can just stay this way. If the D does their job weekly and Dak plays within himself the team will have a chance every week. What you are seeing is the BP that teams with middle road QBs take. This team can go far if Dak doesn’t get in the way.
Yep, great insight on the situation but the question in the near future will be is it worth 50 million a year and can you afford to keep this defense intact cap-wise?

This is what the WCO does, a lot of high percentage passes that act like runs. This will keep Dak’s interceptions low and % completed high. I can’t wait to see how it does against Philthy and SF, the game plan may or may not be needed to alter.

Reminds me of the Romo years where perception rarely matched reality. I think Romo had a bad December in his first season, then was phenomenal in his next few Decembers and I remember Kurt Warner talking about his December struggles for 10 minutes, then ended his segment by saying, in his last 2 decembers Tony has 17tds and 2ints... LOL. Same with Dak, he played awful last year and was an INT machine, but he literally was one of the best ever at NOT throwing INTs his previous 6 years. But folks act like he's always been prone to picks. Complete BS.

The WCO in action scheme to attack the defense in spots or individual players until they cover it then hit the open spot... Teams will start to creep up when they learn we can actually keep drives moving without shooting ourselves in the foot, THEN your gonna see Cooks take the top off a couple defenses.

It's almost as if the NFL players, coaches, scouts and execs who ALL ranked him as a very good QB this past offseason, they knew what they were talking about?

1. Dak

4. Love
5. Goff

7. Stafford
8. Geno
9. Mahomes
10. Mayfield
If anyone would have posted this list right before the season started and said these will be the leaders after 2 games, nobody would have believed them. They would have been laughed off the boards.

I guarantee no one's bingo card would have had Cousins, Love, Geno and Mayfield. Mahomes at 9 and no Herbert, no Burrow, no Allen, no Hurts. The NFL script writers have been very inventive to start the season........lol

For the love of...

If another member is not posting within a thread, DO NOT TAG the missing member, PROMPTING them to actually post and then SPARKING an unnecessary sub-discussion asking why the member has not been posting.

Good grief people.

Ray Charles could see this coming.
It never made sense for goofies to attack Dak knowing this was coming.
We haven't even seen the full benefit of the improved offensive personnel yet.
When OL is 100% healthy and Cooks is back the offense can be scary good.

Cooks becomes the deep threat to take the top of the defense,

Dak and his vastly improved efficiency are a glaring example of how important the offensive scheme is to a QB and the product he puts out on the field.

This scheme is exactly what the team needs, since it is paired with such a dominant defense.

McCarthy should be getting a ton of praise for what he’s done.

I weep that Romo didn't get a chance to play in a scheme like this, especially our 2007 or 2014 team. I love the balance, and the playcalling is top notch.
