Dak has reached out to OBJ

One thing we have not seen a lot of in his time in Dallas is him forcing the ball to anybody. Hell most of us WANTED him to force it to Dez and Coop more but Dak has generally refused to put the ball in harm's way. That's how you keep a top 5 all time career INT percentage.
We've never seen this kind of shameless unadulterated campaigning for a particular receiver, either.

Knowing this team and how it operates with Jerry's influence, bless your heart if you don't think the ball will be going to Beckham whether he deserves it or not.

Didn't hear that. But CeeDee doesn't have to worry about his job. What do Gallup, Brown, etc. think? Hey, its not just me making this up Romo and Nantz asked the same question Sunday. Who isn't good enough that they want OBJ so bad?
Who cares? Do you want to win games or tend to the needs of those underachieving?

LOL. Gallup isnt worried about his job either. He got paid. Brown may be a little worried but the core WRs on this team wont care.

Perhaps I was wrong about the cowboys receiving corps.
If they've contacted OBJ to invite him to sign with Dallas, they are not what I thought.

I don't see Dallas getting away from running a balanced offense regardless of signing OBJ or not. McCarthy continues to stress this that being balanced and playing situational football.

Sorry, but I'm not liking all this groveling for OBJ. He's going to feel entitled to get the ball.
"Yall, begged me to be here, but yall aint getting me the ball. Get me da BALL!"

And what happens when OBJ is just too expensive for Stephen? We will have tried to trade for a WR and then tried to sign a gimpy head case. Doesn't say much for how they value our current receiving core or is morale not an issue?

This is all a product of the Twitter/Instagram age and has zero to do with what happens on the field. Dak aint forcin the ball to nobody.. Of that I am pretty confident. It's just not in his nature..

yeah, lol If Dallas doesn't then Jones does not care about winning a SB, if they do sign him what about the moral? lol Come on if this team is that weak minded then signing OBJ or not will not matter. This guy may get his feeling hurt? Give me a break. These are supposed to grown ars men all looking to achieve a championship. When the Rams signed OBJ last year I heard no one worried about the moral of the team, they were looking to win a championship.

You think OBJ is going to deliver a championship?

As I said before I don't see OBJ as some savior I see him as a quality addition. To win a championship starts up front on both OL and DL. I think OBJ rout running and great hands adds more to this offense. I fully expect to see Gallup continue making plays as well as CeeDee and Brown, OBJ just adds to the mix. When the Rams traded for him they did not stop feeding the ball to Kupp, Higbee, Jefferson. In 8 games for the Rams OBJ contributed 5 TD catches and 2 more TD in post season.

Speak for yourself. My opinion (and others) doesn't line up with yours, that's the real issue. Most understand it's an addition that would help a very thin group of WRs.

Actually, I think the receiver corps could use an addition. I don't know if OBJ is the right guy, but whatever. Still, you have to tell the guys whose snaps you want to takeaway for his something. Or not I guess.

you can reach out as much as you want

its Stephen thats gonna fumble it with honest offers and due diligence
This will follow the typical Dallas big name free agent arc. Interest on both sides, worked hard to get it done, couldn’t get the numbers to work out. We’ve seen this movie too many times to expect anything different.

Oh, I expect something different. The players and the management and the coaches all want OBJ. OBJ's family wants him to play for Dallas. OBJ wants to play for Dallas. Dallas is the best team.

It would be funny if Beckham just tweets whoever wins this game wins my absurd contract. I promise I won't be that crazy.

Cause they've cost him three interceptions in the last 3 games by not running routes correctly or even fighting for the ball? Just spit ballin here.. In all seriousness, if you can get another playmaker on your team why wouldn't EVERYBODY on the team want that? As long as he's left jerkoff Odell behind for good why not bring him in? He aint gonna be able to play a ton of snaps right away anyway.. and if he DOES earn a lot more snaps it will be because he's made plays.. If you were one of the receivers who has NOT made plays you sit yer arse down and cheer for the ones who can.

Well put!!

I agree with all of that. Except then there is Stephen. Sob unless OBJ signs a very friendly deal, I get he’s on SF or NY
