Twitter: Dak has turned into the butt of jokes just like Romo

Romo is in the booth for the past 10 years. He had his chance and failed. These are Dak's failures.
.....defend him as you may......but he is part of the same drought Dak is experiencing......the same......No CRT (Critical Romo Theory). It is what it is.......the history, like it or not.

The romo hate is the only counter point that very single issue (cough) Dak fans have. It’s sad in 2025 that it’s that thing that causes people such ignorance.

There was no defense in the statement. He's not here and hasn't been for a decade, no matter how much you want to deflect Dak's failures to him, like it or not.

No hate.... that's where you're wrong......it's a FACT. You don't get to erase a Fact.

At least the team loved Romo. This team hates Dak. Nobody in that locker room would shed a tear if Dak were released.

Football savvy fans and analysts know that Romo was the superior player and most of the flack he got was unwarranted. Dak on the other hand is a plug who did nothing with more and deserves to be a laughing stock. Casuals and Church of Prescott members will pretend they're the same.
Romo was good but absolutely deserved the flack he got. Let's not pretend the man didn't make some major mistakes at crucial times.

I think Romo was such a better quarterback after he got married, he seemed to be more focused. The man was a warrior, but he was another one that just didn’t have it when it was most needed. Prescott he had it, and the opposite of Romo you get worse, not better. Prescott broken never should’ve signed him. But he’s not the reason we failed either. Everybody wants to blame the quarterbacks. They’re the highlights. But neither neither quarterback had a complete team.

Bingo! Romo made mistakes but he kept swinging and fighting. Dak gets that deer in the headlights look and it's game over.
Do you know how ridiculous of a statement that is. Prescott was a comeback fourth quarter best in the league quarterback at one time.

And the thing is it's going to get worse because Dak is breaking down and clearly doesn't give a crap, as reflected in his play. He's going to be so dislikes by the time that stupid contract runs it's course.

It's pretty easy to type in "did romo deserve criticism?" (or something like it) and find plenty of factual statements/stats about how he was NOT this great loser/choker some "fans" think. That he wasn't perfect but in fact pretty good. And he also had his share of "hate" during his tenure.

However, if you STILL use these terms "loser" and "choker" for Romo 10 years later, well, there's no amount of reality that can change it now.

Are you kidding me? :
"[In the ten seasons that Tony Romo has been the starting quarterback, he's engineered some great fourth-quarter heroics to bring the Cowboys to victories. Since 2006, no quarterback has had more fourth-quarter comeback victories, 25 to be exact, than Tony Romo. His passer rating in the final quarter of football is an astounding 102.9, five points higher than the number two guy (Aaron Rodgers). Romo also holds the mantle of most game-winning drives among active quarterbacks (29) as well as passer rating in the final two minutes (93.1)."

everyone wants to make it about Dak. he is what he is. not an elite QB.

but the sad part is the cowboys. this is embarassement for the cowboys organization. yet here we are. people let their personal emotions about a single player take over. in case people missed it, the Eagles defense gave up 10 points. the commanders held tampa to 20 points on the road, texans gave up 12 points, bills 7 and ravens 14. no losing team scored more than 20 points.

the cowboys organization should be embarassed of the job they have done in the past 30 years.

Quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys is always going to get used in this way because mentioning the Cowboys is still the easiest way to get attention.

Also because we suck. Lol

I have a feeling our next QB under this GM will also fail and the pattern will only stop with his demise (if we're lucky.)
