I bet not a single one of you Dak detractors felt the same way about getting rid of Romo? Am I right? Be honest. And that's because Romo started 10 full seasons with more seasons full of more interceptions than what Dak had this 2022 season.
Stop worshipping an average qb in Dak. Also I don’t understand this very ex lover argument of bringing up some next person to deflect criticism from Dak. It’s embarrassing emotional logic. Please get some help so you can come up with better logic than that drivel you previously posted.

Behind every Dak failure is an even bigger failure...Jerry Jones!! We were the only team DUMB enough to give away a number 1 receiver for a 5th and a bag of chips. Then not replace him:laugh:

Here are the facts...

Look at the INTs amounts between Romo and Dak...

Romo had almost double the amount of interceptions in only 3 years more of starting than Dak, yet y'all never treated Romo the way you are now with Dak after his worst turnover season which still is not as high as several career seasons Romo had. Unbelievable, unfair and quite sad.

LMAO casper, or is it Cowboysbragger. It's sad you can't even admit that dak sucks and is the reason we lost. Maybe the receivers should have jumped over the defender's back to catch those tight-window throws. dak prescott lmao, the biggest joke in team history
Comments like this, make you sound like a jilted lover with an axe to grind. Dak may suck, but he's far from the biggest joke in team history. Hell, at one point the Cowboys had Ryan Leaf on the team. Not to mention, the Cowboys sent a 1st, 3rd, and 6th to Detroit for Roy Williams. Or... more recently, picked Taco over Watt, and Trysten over Metcalf. The list of jokes/embarrassments for this franchise is long, and Daks not even close to the top.

I am not sure I understand the question. Dak has 2 years left on his contract, although there are two voided years. Are you asking about picking up the two voided years for an additional $30 million guaranteed?

Keep in mind the Cowboys already pushed out some of Daks bonus into 2025 ($18.130 million) and some in 2026 ($3.680 million). If they don't touch his deal this year ($49 million CAP hit, $31 million salary) then his CAP hit would be $33 million in 2025 and $18.7 million in 2026.

First, it is not a given that Dak takes $30 million for two years. He held out for $40 million per year before so why would he take such a huge pay cut?

At $25 million per year his 2025 CAP hit would be $43 million in 2025. The Cowboys don't get much of a break there and it makes it harder to restructure him in 2023.

If he would take $15 million per year for the two voided year, I would do it in a minute if I was Jerry.

But I suspect Dak will want $40 million per year at least to extend him. The way I see it Jerry has two choices this year. Either he extends & restructures Dak's contract to lower his CAP amount in 2023 so he can afford to sign a few players, or he doesn't touch Dak's contract this year, has a frugal offseason letting some key players go as he prepares to rid himself of Dak and his contract after the 2024 season. Of course the are restructures that could still allow Jerry to trade Dak in 2024 with just a little more CAP pain.

But ultimately, it comes down to 2 choices.

Stop it Dak rider. Trying to do some witchcraft with them numbers to take the stench of Wak. Anybody with a brain can see exactly what I mean too by looking at the years. Get off it groupie

Says the person that has never played at any level. Don’t lie either and say you have because if you had you wouldn’t be a groupie for another man. Now go run along Stan
I'm smarter than you. Played way better than you, and I would run you over repeatedly and laugh as you choke on your tears and snot.

How can we measure this alleged smartness? You never played unless you want to count your video games as really playing. Then the last part tells me irl you’re just a little frail guy not some behemoth as you claim lol.

Let’s stick to you being a Dak football groupie. You tried to be tricky with the numbers instead of just having them year by year like a non bias fan would you put them out of context to try to fool people that wouldn’t do much investigating. 3 of those Romo years were his first 3 starting. It seems like Dak is going the opposite way tbh but I could be wrong.

Dude, your Romo obsession is getting ridiculous. That was seven years ago. Dak SUCKS on his own. This is about Dak choking when it matters most and Romo has nothing to do with it. I've supported Dak up until now and in 2016 said "ride the hot hand" with Dak.

The correct choice for the Cowboys is to keep Dak but draft a QB early. Hold a QB competition in camp. Let the best QB win. Develop that rookie and if we fail, try again over and over. There should be no complacency at the position especially since Dak keeps choking.

Funny how you never said this during Romo's 10 years as a starter.

2 time All State (high school). Played independent semi-pro league for 2 years afterwards.

What did you do?
