I called Romo out when he played poorly and I didn't want him to get that 100 million contract. It hurt the team, just as Dak's contract does. But Romo never had the type of defense or O-line protection in the playoffs that Dak does. Even if Romo didn't get it done, that's not a good defense of Dak. It's ridiculous to keep bringing up Romo to try to defend Dak. It's deflection. It's tantamount to admitting that Dak can't stand/fall on his own merits.
It's been seven years. Let it go. You know as well as I that I defended Romo, and I defended Dak. I chose to keep Dak over Romo. But Dak has shown not to be able to get it done. It's time to move on and Romo has nothing to do with that.
Dak is STILL making rookie mistakes and panicking after seven years. When is enough going to be enough? He has tons of money and could have hired experts to improve his game. What did he do? NOTHING.
