I have no issue with him, what I have issue with is all the propping up for him. People will say Daks stats don't matter, and in the same breath bring up another's stats. Let the man get some skins on the wall at least. Dak is a regular in the playoffs since his rookie season, but others will say it's the team around him, well I guess we always had a all pro team and great coach and great GM, but the only thing holding us back is the QB. Its a wonder we never get the #1 draft pick. Maybe we just have a real good QB

You can keep trying but as I said in the beginning ”average” can be defined as 25%-75%. 74-26 = 48, so that’s not the middle 50%. But even using your cutoff Dak is still at the top of the average range, which was my point. So nfl people ranking him 9th is not refuting guys claiming he is average but affirming that.

Count on your fingers and toes how many numbers are between 9 and 24, including the 9 and 24.

1-8 is the top 25%
9-24 is the middle 50%
25-32 is the bottom 25%

OK, well I do agree that he has not reached his potential yet. However, there is almost no doubt that he either is already or will be a top 5 QB in the NFL. He's been that good, and getting better.

Honestly, when you get past the top 4-6, there's often very little difference between 8 and 16.

Yeah, I was thinking about this as a continuous variable rather than rank. But either way with Dak at 9 he is in the middle 50%.
