My only issue with Dak is he was overpaid when we could have paid for other offensive positions to make him better.
That is on Jerry though, not Dak. Dak could win it all with right offense around him. Troy, Emmit and Michael would not have rings without that offensive line they had. It is 100% true.

Hurts would not have ring without the OL he has, Tom Brady would have fewer rings if he had weaker OL during his winning seasons.

You are not winning the Super Bowl without a top tier OL with depth.

Think about all the Anti-Dak Cult Members who have called Dak "trash" or "average" all offseason....

And now the rest of us can officially point and laugh at them.
:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Nobody on this board knows better than actual NFL personnel. Go argue with a wall.

The Anti-Dakkers lose yet again, because losers lose.

Top 10 List:

  1. Patrick Mahomes – Kansas City Chiefs
  2. Joe Burrow – Cincinnati Bengals
  3. Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills
  4. Aaron Rodgers – New York Jets
  5. Justin Herbert – Los Angeles Chargers
  6. Jalen Hurts – Philadelphia Eagles
  7. Lamar Jackson – Baltimore Ravens
  8. Trevor Lawrence – Jacksonville Jaguars
  9. Dak Prescott – Dallas Cowboys
  10. Matthew Stafford – Los Angeles Rams

Honorable Mention:

  • Deshaun Watson – Cleveland Browns
  • Kirk Cousins – Minnesota Vikings
  • Jared Goff – Detroit Lions
  • Derek Carr – New Orleans Saints
  • Tua Tagovailoa – Miami Dolphins

Additional Votes:

  • Kyler Murray – Arizona Cardinals
  • Daniel Jones – New York Giants
  • Justin Fields – Chicago Bears

Cam anyone explain to me why Jackson and Herbert are so fawned upon? Especially Jackson.

Nope. Everyone who disagrees with me about Dak isn't the people I'm talking about.

I'm talking about the dumb haters who really believe that they know more about football and NFL quarterbacking than other players, coaches and GMs.

Maybe you're one of those I speak of. Are you triggered that people who know more about NFL football than you placed Dak in the top 10?
No...not triggered. Odd that you think you wield so much power. But hey if it helps you get through the day....sure ....ya triggered me. Whatever shall i do now?
And im talking about people that love the experts when it lines up their opinion. And if it dont....then they are just hacks.
But of course you feel immune to this human condition.:laugh:

Can you read? He didn't ask if HE was triggering you.

He asked if you're triggered by the fact that NFL personnel have Dak in the top 10.

You're clearly triggered by that. You didn't have Dak in your top 10 and now you're lashing out.

Must suck knowing you'd be laughed out of the room when discussing Dak with actual NFL coaches, scouts and execs.

I think Dak being in the top 10 by anyone just shows how QB starved this league is these days. And honestly, between 9 and 15 you can arrange those names in any order and it would be just as accurate.
well, you could argue that Goff has been to superbowl and he did decent in Detroit last year, but the other ones have done less and accomplished less. so I wouldn't say rearrange in any order.....

I am not a big fan of jackson. we complain about Dak, but Jackson has been down right awful in post season. he is tough to play against in regular season, because he is good in running the QB option and scrambles well, but in the playoffs those type of QBs often get neutralized.

Herbert had a big choke job last year, but we all talk about SF. then again this is a cowboys forum. so there is that.

No argument with the second part of your post but I would actually argue that the league is not nearly as QB starved as it was in the past. A team like LV can just let a guy like Derek Carr go, not think twice about it, and then go get a Jimmy G who has played in a superbowl. I think this is about as deep as the QB position has ever been....now is it deep with a lot of above average to average players and lacks the top-end guys like we had a decade ago? That very well could be true.
I think the NFL is deep with average to good QB but there are very few really good to elite QB. Once you get past PM and AR, you can pretty much rank the next 15 or so in any order and it wouldn't be wrong.

And I have no problem saying that anyone saying "he must go at all costs" is delusional. IMO there is a path for Dak to exit after this year depending on what happens, but there is also a very obvious path where it makes sense to keep the guy around. I tend to struggle with anyone in an absolute side of that debate one way or the other.

I haven't been around much of the "he must go at all costs" posts, but I also havent been around a ton since the draft and tend to stay away from the Dak threads 10+ pages long before I even start reading so it's possible i'm wrong and there is more of this extreme view than I think.
I have been in those Dak threads and I have challenged their positions. It doesn't matter what framing you give, they just want him gone. The false dichotomy of Cowboys or Dak is front and center.

I have no doubt he's within the top 10-12 range on most sites and etc.

But not to take away from him or others mentioned in the top 8-12 or so but outside of the top 15 the quarterback state is dismall and weak. Just nature of the beast.

They may increase once the season starts. The board will be flooded with them every time the Cowboys lose a game. They’ll have to be merged.

So, KJJ, what is your opinion about the running backs? I have a concern about the Pollard injury.

And they will be overly high praise threads when we win
