You put any one of those QBs on the Jets and the Jets would be considered a top tier playoff team. You put Dak on the Jets and they are a .500 team.
The Jets went 5-4 with Zach Wilson last year... yeah, I'm sure they'd do worse with Dak.

Maybe find a new hobby? One that isn't so confusing for you?

LMAO at Tua and Lawrence.

Tua hasn't been to the playoffs, and Lawrence was awful. That's not even mentioning the systems that Tua and Hurts play in.

What a joke people like you are with your dumb little platitudes.
Dak Haters pass around platitudes and annointing oil....

Joe Burrow "carries" his team deep into the playoffs but Bengals Defense has more playoff 4th QTR TDs :lmao2:

Justin Herbert is doing a great Prescott Joystick impression.... finally proving Herbert is Elite:lmao:

Trey Lance battled Purdy and Darnold in a QB battle the experience made Trey aka Skinny Day the best QB on Cowboys roster

It's NOT ABOUT FOOTBALL!!!

Not only that, but I don't see Tua's targets dropping the ball nearly at the rate that our WRs and tight ends do. I'd imagine Dak would look a bit better if his WRs and TEs (not counting Lamb, though his effort on the jump ball last week was pathetic) could be relied on consistently to catch the ball.
Rusty, you're making way more out of the dropped passes than you should.

Of course dropped passes hurt but Dallas has 5 dropped passes so far, putting them tied for third. The Jaguars have 4, so they very much are dropping passes at pretty much the same rate as the Cowboys, as many other teams are.

I would hold off on using drops as an excuse, at least for now.

Still, being tied for 3rd isn't good. I'm not saying it's like the biggest reason we lost, but it's something that i see as an issue that has been needing correcting for some time now. I'm not just talking about this year with my point about the drops. I'm saying that we seem to have a lot of drops when I watch the Cowboys. Plus, it's not just that the drops happen, it's also a question of how critical was the play where the drop happened. It seems that we have a lot of those when we are in scoring range. Last year, we saw several drops turn into interceptions. That's where I am concerned.

I agree that drops haven't been too much of a problem, but the Hendershot and Ferguson drops against the Giants paint a very different picture in that game. In a small sample, that makes a big difference.

Not only that, but it's disturbing to me that we still have some of these drops happening when that cost us at least one game last year against Jacksonville and probably cost us a few interceptions last year.

And in 2019 they were the worst team in the league in drops, IIRC.

There's nothing you can really do about it, other than upgrade the talent.

Honestly, at this point, is it the talent or the coaching? The only receiving targets still on the team from then are Gallup and Pollard. The others are gone. Lamb wasn't on the team. Neither were any of our tight ends. At this point, we might need to upgrade the receiving coach.

Talent. Drops have nothing to do with coaching, I don't think.

I suppose it could be, but, considering what the Cowboys have spent and what changes the Cowboys have made at the receiving group, you would think the drops would be cut down. The fact we have 5 already this season is not good.

They haven't really improved the receiving group from 2019 and have not invested nearly enough in it. Gallup led them in drops and drop % that year. WRs might end up being more reliable, but the TE group is worse, in that regard. The current drop rate is effectively the same as that season.

How sad is it that Jason Witten was more reliable then than our current TEs? It's pathetic when you think about it lol.

Talk about confusing I think your boy Dak looked confused and in a state of panic. I see you went into hiding after that loss.

Blah blah blah

Why is just getting to the Super Bowl some kind of achievement?

Name 5 QBs who elevate their team. The idea that Jalen Hurts does that is laughable.
It's my opinion, you are being intellectually dishonest here. Surely, as smart as you are.... you can see there is disconnect in the definition of "elevate their team".

For example, I think Romo did. some people want to argue the expectations of 1st round QB's and later round QB have different standards...well how about UNDRAFTED?

Did something like that happen to elevate his team from HIS perspective and observations?

Of course he did. and you can easily see some people still hate him.
"elevate" the team...what does that mean? Make 1st rounders win super bowls? Hmmmm.....
