3 INTs. In the past two games against the super lousy Colts and Texans?

Our bus driver had 2 Ints. against the worst team in the NFL! Before tha, he was picked off once by the Colts.
What gives us confidence he won't have pick six all day against capable teams such as Tennessee, the Bucs and Eagles?

Blimey, Dak is pedestrian. He's not even close to elite or a least average.

I fear, big time, when we get to the playoffs.

LOL, in other words, as long as Dak stays on the interstate highways and not take any back roads, city streets, narrow roads or heaven forbid, ...mountains....we are good to go. yessssir.....and the dammmmm weather better be clear and sunny.

Just don't get fancy, if that is possible for you, Dak.
Tennessee, Eagles even Bucs don't concern me as much as it concerns me how Dak will do against capable teams.

Dak, bless his heart, tries hard. But, "The Mouth Breather" image as one sage here described Dak, is when it gets bad and he gets tha lost look. Then calamity.

Dak is capable of putting up a good game agaisnt top opponents too. But then he will s h i t the bed against 2nd and 3rd string defenses.

Needs to be way more consistent

Keep Dak roughly at 20-25 pass attempts, establish and not abandon the run game and he's good enough to drive the bus straight

Here is the story:

The boys will beat a lousy Bucs team in the playoffs and the Dak lovers will cheer about how awesome he is. Then Dallas will get roasted in round 2. The end. Fast forward to the draft.

A first round playoff win ….will have Dallas city officials planning the parade route . In Feb in North Texas . Weather should be fantastic . Watch the slippery ice patches Jerry. :espn:

I agree that some version of that is most likely to happen.

Blimey, Dak is pedestrian. He's not even close to elite or a least average.

I fear, big time, when we get to the playoffs.

While I understand the point you are making, I suggest we take a dispassionate look at the picks. Tipped balls by linebackers being caught by the other team seems a bit harsh. It suggests Dak either threw the ball into peril or was ignorant of the linebacker being able to jump high enough to tip the ball. I also suggest the WR has a culpability in this scenario since part of his job is to defend the ball and keep it out of the opponent's hands. Michael Irvin was very good at this. Seems recently the receivers with Dallas are not protecting the ball.

I also see receivers on the ground when the ball arrives.

Now the hue and cry will say I am making excuses. And I am not. I hold Prescott accountable when it is his fault. But my position is there are fans so jaded about this guy, nothing but beating the other team by 35 points without any turnovers will do. And there is a subset of fans who would still act like he was the second gunman on the Grassy Knoll and also kidnapped the Lindbergh baby.

Your post tells the story when you say he is pedestrian. Averaging over 30 points a game seems difficult to agree with your stance. Thus you fall into the category of a fan who would not be pleased unless Tom Brady in his greatest season was the signal caller of the Cowboys.

Realistic expectations appears to have flown out of the window with the disappointed fan. Perhaps you should have someone pick up all the sharp objects in your home when Dallas begins the play-offs.

One last point. When Steele went down the back-up came in and failed miserably. Dak threw a pick in the Dallas end of the field.

But then the coach changed out Ball and brought in Peters.

Dak led the team on a 98-yard drive. Against a team that was playing the best ball they have seen this season.

Let's not ignore when you give this guy time, he can make plays and win. Leaving that out of your argument seems unfair.

On planet ABD. That's what world.. You get used to it. Losses are on Dak, wins are on anybody but Dak.. (ABD.)

Yea, it’s now morphed into us winning in spite of Dak and figuring out ways to blame everything that went wrong in him.

Planet ABD is wild.

We are 10-3 and Dak has been the best QB since he came back from injury. You'd think with all this Dak/Cowboys hate that we would be 3-10 and Dak ranked last in every QB statistics. For some reason winning sure does bring out the non-Cowboys fans around here.

I don't go on any other board besides this one, but I would bet money that fans of Bills/Chiefs/Vikings/49ers and the rest of the winning teams don't bash their team like so-called fans here do.

Who cares what Dak has been? Too many people just keep talking about him as if we're playing Tennis. Our Cowboys are inconsistent. They're not a better team than the 49ers or the Eagles. I'd bet an arm and a leg we can beat anyone else in the playoffs. I wouldn't bet a dime we could beat either of those two. And I don't care how well Dak is playing. We'll need to catch fire at some point and start playing better, and a little luck wouldn't hurt. Otherwise we're not getting past them.

This. I could see us beating the Bucs in round 1 and then getting our ***** kicked in round 2 to the 49ers / Eagles. They’re better teams with more talent. It’s not a matter of us choking we just aren’t as good as them and we’re supposed to lose. Fingers crossed - bc any given Sunday.

And no matter what Dak does in that L, it’ll completely be his fault.

If the Bucs get their injured players back, they are going to be a tough out for anyone. Plus we know how the referees seem to swallow their whistles for Brady teams in the past.

With Brady even the other QBs you have to take into account how the other side of their team played. Brady has a defensive minded coach in Belicheck that surely pays dividends to all those wins
Well that. And Brady got the luxury of beating up on Miami, NYJ, and Buffalo for years. Thats 6 wins a year right there lol.

Lol this team isn’t beating any team with Brady on it. Only way we win the first round is if it’s the anyone else in the NFC South.

you’re right about us getting blown out in round 2 though.
So then dont watch. Team hasnt imploded yet. I mean thats your schtick every season isnt it Amari? Which team are you jumping off to this season? Philly I am assuming. Since the Cardinals are trash.
