Dak is a capable bus driver against bad teams

Fans on this site, even the knowledgeable ones, seem to never learn anything about knee jerk reactions.
My fellow Dak fans sound so silly putting Dak on a pedestal after he has a great game.
Dak detractors love to live in hyperbole after he plays poorly, after every bad throw or decision.

You cannot judge a player, and certainly not a QB, by one season (Stafford, Goff, Brady, Rodgers, Hurts, Tua)-this year, good and bad. And you certainly cannot judge a QB by a game or even a series of games. It’s one thing to critique a game performance. It’s another foolish thing to label a QB that way.
You can judge him if you see the same thing through HS, college and 7 years in the nfl. He is what he is. No SB with Dak under center…ever!

i noticed this really cool thing watching the 49ers last night. It is a team sport, and the 49ers have a pretty complete one, so does Philadelphia. The years that Mahomes won superbowls, really good offensive line and defensive lines I noticed. I'm not denying, it would be cool if Dak could scramble like Mahomes for 3 minutes and throw to a wide open tight end for 8 yards but we dont have that.

If Dallas doesnt go far in the playoffs, the team also has alot to do with it.

3 INTs. In the past two games against the super lousy Colts and Texans?

Our bus driver had 2 Ints. against the worst team in the NFL! Before tha, he was picked off once by the Colts.
What gives us confidence he won't have pick six all day against capable teams such as Tennessee, the Bucs and Eagles?

Blimey, Dak is pedestrian. He's not even close to elite or a least average.

I fear, big time, when we get to the playoffs.
B u s d r i v e r and no more. Try to make him more and we are one and done unless the d saves him.

I said they usually don’t but it’s happened. Dak is no bus driver. We had a bus driver for 5 games this season.
We've had two bus drivers for every game this season .
Our backup bus driver went 4-1.

Our backup went 4-1, never passing for more than 235 yards. He only had one game with multiple TD passes and had a couple of games passing for under 200 yards. He only had 16 passing attempts for 102 yards in our win against the Rams. He drove the bus while we won games with our defense, which never gave up more than 17 points in his 4 wins. We had one of the lowest scoring offenses in the league with Rush at QB and have had the highest scoring offense in the league with Dak.

The same defense that was out there for Rush is the same defense that's out there with Dak.
Rush had an entirely different offensive game plan than Dak did. And the formula for both QBs relies on the running game.

Sorry, but this hasn’t been the same defense with Dak. Our defense was playing better earlier in the season. We were keeping teams under 20 points and not allowing more than one TD per game with Cooper Rush. Only one team scored more than 20 points when Rush was the QB and it resulted in a loss. We’ve given up more points/TDs and Parsons hasn’t been as effective as he was earlier in the season. Our pass rush was the best in the league, but didn’t have a single sack last week. We had to play a different style of offense when Rush was the QB, which kept our points down. We had to rely on our running game and defense to win games.

Rush didn't put up a lot of passing yards because he wasn't asked to. He is fully capable of putting up Dak type passing stats if he was given the opportunity.
The same conditions that you applied to Rush apply to Dak.Both aren't winning with their arms.

When I say the same defense I mean the same personnel .

Well then, according to you, if we won games with our defense without Dak and we have the highest-scoring offense with Dak (never mind those pesky league-leading INT's since he's been back), then we should be undefeated.

In fact, we should breeze through the playoffs and onto the Super Bowl.

It’s according to everyone who was watching the games that we were winning with our defense when Cooper Rush was the QB. We’ve had to score more points with Dak because our defense hasn’t been keeping opponents out of the end zone as well as it did earlier in the season. We’re not holding opponents to as many FG’s as we were earlier. Granted, some of the problem has been Dak's INT’s but the defense hasn’t held up as well as it did earlier in the season.

Awe...always scared.

I can't wait to beat the Eagles and whoever we face in the playoffs.
