LOL, and to think Jerry is pondering giving a JAG who is making more than Mahomes APY an increase in salary. This in itself is ridiculous. At least Mahomes earns his salary and just about to win his 3rd SB. That's like comparing bologna to a Wagyu steak. And Purdy making his minimum and playing better than Dak on his way to the SB.

He's extremely slow and can't move, if he could it would really help this offense move better at times

Huge problem. He runs like he has a foot drop since that ankle injury.

I think he made epic improvements in the way he delivers the ball, especially downfield. He also trusted his receivers more.

He does need to work on seeing the field, true dat!

I've posted this here before, but here is the NFL draft profile of him, https://www.nfl.com/prospects/dak-prescott/32005052-4528-5723-d1b2-96e92ebc1241, and there are weaknesses that stand out that are still weaknesses.

• Pocket poise has been compromised
• Hyper aware of pressure around him and lacks awareness to slide and find temporary shelter to make throw
• Concern over pressure too often trumps ability to get through progressions
• Must speed up the pace of his reads

All of this is why our offensive line ranks 6th but looks like 28th with him back there. That whole list can be summed up as:

Panics in the pocket at the first sign of pressure + slow processor = Big Googly Deer Eyes

I don't believe that Dak ever recovered from that gruesome ankle injury back in 2020' from a mental standpoint.. Since then, he's become an unwilling and very reluctant runner, which isn't good because he's limited and less effective as a QB without running, or at least being a threat to run.

The bigger problem is that your QB in his 9th year still cant read zone defense....................THAT IS A HELL OF A LOT BIGGER PROBLEM THAN HIS YARDS PER CARRY AVG!

Dak’s main problem is he makes bad decisions in big games, especially playoff games. His athletic ability is good enough.
