If you listen to Micah's podcast with Trevon, may need to add a few more to the mental choker list. If you want to prefer to Dak as a mental choker, just want you know........he has company.

Did he initially attack me or not? Answer the question.

You see. You guys start it. Then you play the victim and point fingers when one rightfully defends oneself. The problem starts with YOU guys.
I didn't initially attack you. I said it's a stupid idea. Because it is. I said it's one of the dumbest things I've read on here. Because it is. It's actually one of the dumbest things I've ever read anywhere.

I didn't call YOU stupid, because that would be attacking YOU, regardless if I think you are or not, and that would be wrong. So I didn't do that.

You only think it's a stupid idea because you've never seen it work. It works.

He has not been playing well since the Green Bay game. I frankly think that he has lost his confidence since that game and won't be able to gain it back.
I remember him losing confidence after the Falcons game in 2017 and then regaining it when we got Cooper in 2018. I think what he needs is a competent running game and probably better play calling.

These are narrow defined limits you are putting in to try to make the point that no team would move on from a QB like Dak. Better teams have moved on from better QBs. Russell Wilson got traded during his prime (after an injured season where he didn’t perform as well as he had). His career backup replacement has given the team pretty mediocre results (though I think Geno has been pretty good). Geno and the results did get Pete Carroll fired though. You don’t have to hold on to a guy till the wheels fall off to then find a suitable replacement. The Cowboys did not plan ahead sufficiently, but it still does not mean they had to sign him. Just see how the season ends, and give him the huge contract if he played really well.

Very good post. However.... Geno Smith and Wilson weren't released or traded after an All-Pro and MVP candidate season. People here were calling for Dak to be removed after he had one of his best seasons.

Teams don't just rid themselves of a quarterback who just had an All-Pro, MVP candidate season. If so, what are these quarterbacks names?

With that said, we were in a dicey position. Dak isn't elite but we had no other alternatives. If Dak was the ONLY problem with this team then I would agree with you, but Dak isn't the only problem we have or the only player falling short of their expectations. We have to start with finding a real coaching staff first. Let's just start there....

Dak has 5 TDs and 5 turnovers in our 3 wins this season and you’re on here acting like there aren’t many QBs that could have us at 3 wins right now?

Lolololololololololololololololol

There are a couple of top 10 quarterbacks who are also highly paid, with similar or worst numbers than Dak this season. What excuses do you have for them?

With that said it's pretty good to see you post as much as you have this season because you barely posted during those 12-4 win seasons the last couple of years. Glad to see you come out of the closet.

Oh yeah.... what's Dak's overall record vs your favorite team?

Do you...do you think you just discovered this or something? Look at you. Tryin to fit in. What's next, you gonna point out he played the worst pass defense schedule in the league the year he got his first all pro bid?

"Hey guys, I'm just like you now!"

Sad.

This highlighted comment is the dumbest thing people here have ever typed. Let's see if any of you can answer this one simple question with AVOIDING or DEFLECTING it like you do all the other common sense questions.....

There is a quarterback who plays against the weakest pass defense schedule EVERY YEAR.

People here said that Dak only had an All-Pro, MVP candidate year due to the weakest pass defense schedule.

Here's the question....

1. If playing against the weakest pass defense schedule guarantees an All-Pro, MVP candidate season.... why haven't the quarterbacks who've played against the worst pass defense schedules every year become an All-Pro and a MVP candidate like Dak did?

Again-the team did not have to do anything. Dak’s contract took him through this season (so they would not be getting rid of him after that big statistical season). After the Green Bay debacle, you would think that every core player (especially the ones getting up there in age) would be on shaky ground as far as planning long term future commitments. The best plan was to wait and see what 2024 looked like, and then decide on long term future contracts.

Interesting thing I noticed is Daks only had back to back good statistical seasons once in his career, and that was in 2018-2019

2016: 23 tds 4 ints
2017: 22 tds 13 ints
2018: 22 tds 8 ints
2019: 30 tds 11 ints
2020: injured
2021: 37 tds 10 ints
2022: 23 tds 15 ints
2023: 36 tds 9 ints

So Daks been consistently inconsistent

@MountaineerCowboy , he's a busta
Division winner schedules vs not?

I wanted our best options for now. Dak was one of those options. He still has a winning record vs your favorite team. It's amazing that no matter how bad he is, he still succeeds vs your favorite team.

That can't be reversed or undone and that triggers you.

Every Eagles fan I know is just as happy as you that the Cowboys locked Dak down for years to come.

Where did I say I was happy the Cowboys locked Dak down? Post it. Show me a link, proof, evidence, etc.

I don't know why you and a few others here feel like it's necessary to lie. I've never said I was happy about that.

All I've ever said is we didn't have any better options. But please.... repost me saying I was happy about it. I bet you can't produce that because it never happened. Try harder lil guy.
