Jalen Hurts has tons of weapons and looked like trash last year. So which year did Jalen Hurts have a broken offensive line, one receiver, no running game and a prehistoric uncreative offense??

That never happened.....
Ohhh is this what we’re doing?

I answer your question, you don’t like the answer, so you keep asking questions?

Yeah, not playing that game, enjoy the battle for 3rd place, Dak fan.

Dak had prime Zeke.

Are you trying to fill the void left from all the Dak over Dallas fans that don’t post anymore?

Dak fans are getting exactly what they deserve from this team.

Not at all. I literally said earlier that Dak has been bad this year. I'm also pointing out that Jerry has had his shortcomings too in terms of not addressing obvious issues for several years. Those points are not mutually exclusive from each other. I've been consistent with what I've been expressing my frustrations about. Obviously, Dak has to be way better. I am not excusing his play one bit. I'm simply pointing out other factors at play as well.

And 3 first round future hall of famer O-linemen and another who would have been a first rounder if his ex girlfriend had not been murdered a few days before the draft.

You’re on a life boat, and you see room on the sinking ship that is Dak, and you’re deciding to jump on that and align yourself with the 2 or 3 posters left that are Dak over Dallas?

On top of that, I'm wanting us to get Manning in 2026. But, as far as Dak goes, all I've been trying to say is that, as horrible as he has been, and there is a way out of his contract either in 2026 or 2027 if they don't restructure him, he's not the only reason this season's a bust. Jerry didn't do his job either. That's not false.

You saying “imagine Dak with Barkley” as if Zeke never existed was all I needed to read.

You’re doing what Dak over Dallas fans love to do.

Make excuses and pretend Dak has been surround by bums for 9 years just because the team is bad now.

Yeah, because Barkley would've been an improvement over the rushing attack deficiencies we currently have. That's not a false statement.

Do you think us having Barkley would make Dak stop making bonehead passes?

The QB matters.

The Giants were trash with Barkley. The Titans were trash with Henry.

Dak fan or not, we're ALL getting the same from this team. You deserve as much for still hanging around. As a matter of fact, fans like you deserve it more.....constantly posting negativity, but still stick around. Loyalty at its best, I give you that.

Probably not, but Barkley probably helps Dak to be able to do more play action, which is one thing Dak is good at. But, what's done is done, and I think at this point, we need to position the team to get Manning and provide a team with which Manning can have success.

Manning would be real change that could, like Daniel’s is doing for Washington, change your entire franchise overnight if it works out.

This is what fans should be hoping for instead of being scared to death to take chances.

Well, and I've been eating all seasons and I'm in the process of writing a thread about wanting Manning and my plan for how a tank and rebuild can be completed.

When you write that thread pay close attention to the 3 people that will vehemently disagree with you in the name of Dak so you know who not to take seriously.

Once again don't curse Manning. Sending him to an 82 year old senile fake GM will only Bismarck his career. I pray he goes to a solid team with a real front office. Not Darth Leatherface and his nepo padawan.

This highlighted comment is the dumbest thing people here have ever typed. Let's see if any of you can answer this one simple question with AVOIDING or DEFLECTING it like you do all the other common sense questions.....

There is a quarterback who plays against the weakest pass defense schedule EVERY YEAR.

People here said that Dak only had an All-Pro, MVP candidate year due to the weakest pass defense schedule.

Here's the question....

1. If playing against the weakest pass defense schedule guarantees an All-Pro, MVP candidate season.... why haven't the quarterbacks who've played against the worst pass defense schedules every year become an All-Pro and a MVP candidate like Dak did?
To begin with, your question starts off as a strawman, because nobody said it guarantees anything. I have only ever stated that it is not a coincidence that Dak's first All-Pro and MVP bridesmaid season, came when he happened to face the worst pass defense schedule in the league. Based on that, I thought it was foolish to sign both him and CDL to mega deals and it would have been smarter to let Dak play out his contract and see how he fared against much stiffer competition this year. In hindsight, seems like that wouldn't have been a bad idea, no? Do you think his value has gone up or down based on what you've seen out of him this year? Do you think he still would have commanded such a contract being another year older and playing the way he has if we had let him hit free agency in 2025?

As for the strawman portion of your question...I have not done the research to find out what QB's got an All-Pro bid and were in the MVP talk when facing the worst pass defense schedules. You are welcome to go and dig that up to make your argument if you like, but I don't care about the history of it. I care that it happened here, last year, with Dak, which is what I have pointed out.
