Dak cost this game against the 49ers. Dude is a mental choker!

Someone needs to rattle him around real good a couple of times and either make him wake up or break him! Cowboys need to find out already if this guy mentally has what it takes to toughen up and improve his game or not.
Who are you, and what did you do with America's Cowboy?

It’s been clear for years that he doesn’t have what it takes. This is something many here have known for years.

Yeah, he certainly doesn't have what it takes. So how has he magically put up stats and is on the verge of breaking all franchise passing records?

Are you serious right now or are you that friggin’ blind?Do you even watch the games.Take the blinders off.For a long time now Dak has loaded up on garbage time stats. One of the best when game is already over and D is in prevent D.But, anyone who isn’t a moron, can see when it matters, he’s absolutely horrible.Always has been.Aftet 9 yrs you would think a knowledgeable fan could see this.Dak usually plays well vs. bad teams and when the lights are bright wilts like a dead flower.

Pittsburgh game was the 1st time in his career where he led a game winning TD late in the 4th quarter with 3 mins or less.Wow, has had many, many opportunities and to only have 1.I’ve always said, when you need 7, Dak will get you 3.

Shut your filthy trap and do some research before you post next time. Go look up his career stats buildup by quarter. His biggest stats buildup by quarter are the 1st and 3rd quarters.

Here are the facts!
1. Jerry & Sons have mortgaged away the next 4 1/2 years due to the 60 million per year Dak is going to make through 2028! The QB play is most likely will not get better during this time!
2. I now honestly believe Jerry & Sons don’t really give a damn about really winning. For instance, obviously they were going to renegotiate CD’s contract. They pretended to be on the fence with Dak but they gave him the treasure chest at the last minute anyway! If they had signed CD last spring as other teams had done with their elite talent, it would have freed up around 10 - 11 million from the CAP. Enough money to pick up 1 - 2 quality free agents. Had they signed Dak earlier as well, that would have freed up another 13 - 14 million in CAP Space. That money could have brought in another 3 - 4 quality free agents! (Personally, I just wished they would have just let Dak play out his contract and moved on)! Jerry & Sons will say it’s more complicated than that but that’s B.S.! That’s how all winning teams manage the CAP, even when you’re close to the top, just take a look at Philly! Jerry has year in and year out failed at signing quality free agents, holding onto players too long out of loyalty or stupidity but either way, 1996 was a long, long time ago & was the last time they were in a Super Bowl or a Conference Championship!
3. THE JONES AREN’T GOING ANYWHERE!
4. ITS GOING TO BE A LONG 4 1/2 years, probably longer!

This is what Dak has always been. He can beat up on the weaklings and when there is no pressure but he folds when it matters most. He isn’t mentally stable enough to handle pressure and he will never run a playoff gauntlet.

Dak needs a top five run game and defense to even have a chance yet that will never happen in Dallas. Jerry really screwed up re-signing him as an out was staring him in the face.
Egads!
50% of the Cowboys problems stem from the positions Zeke and Dowdle take up. Putrid!
Yes, me spicy lad, a top-5 run game could also make up for some of the defence's shortcomings.
I don't see any bright spots coming up, only the aging of its core and the exorbitant demands by legends in their own minds.

The bottom line is, he never recovered fully from that injury. It was catastrophic, and I don't know if anything can be done about it.
Not buying it! He had a pretty damn good season last year, 2nd in MVP voting and a great regular season but here’s the thing with Dak. Everyone in competition has a choking point, EXCEPT THE GREAT ONES! Over Dak’s career think about it, when the stakes get higher, when it’s time to lead in the playoffs, when it’s his time to show he’s a Champion, for some reason that is Dak’s chocking point! The adrenaline flows but his mind can’t keep up! BRADY, MJ, TIGER, GRETSKY, MONTANA, REGGIE JACKSON, JACK NICKLAUS etc., etc., the bigger the moment the better they performed and were somehow able to slow things down to be great!
It’s like in golf, maybe a $5 nassau doesn’t hit your choke point but maybe it’s $25, $50, $100, $1,000 or whatever it is but most of us mere mortals have that choking point.
AND UNFORTUNATELY, SO DOES DAK!!

I don’t have to do research because I watch the games. That is just another meaningless stat.Dak has beat up on the nfc east and other lesser teams for years. But vs any halfway decent team he craps the bed like always.Does this possession chart vs good teams sound familiar? 3 and out, 3 and out, int, 3 and out, Dak fumble, 5 plays-1 1st down, int.Have seen this all too often.Once the game is already in hand, Dak will pad stats vs. prevent.

Dak is definitely in a slump at this point in time. His reactions under pressure aren't indicative of a QB playing with enough confidence. His WRs aren't helping matters with their failures to get open. In fact, the entire team isn't playing up to their capabilities -- it's not looking good at all for this season. Of course, the injuries on defense are a curse, also. The failures by our FO did nothing to help matters, either. They should know better, for sure.
