So you are crying because Dak isnt Tom Brady or Montana?

Did you even read what I said? I don't expect Dak to be Brady or Montana, I specifically said that wouldn't be a knock against Dak, but it wasn't the comparison I made....it came from you folks. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if we went back to those threads and you contributed to that narrative.

Most QBs numbers today are better than QBs from nearly 20 years ago....duh. In 2002 only 4 QBs passed for over 4,000 yards, the most TDs thrown were 28, only 4 QBs had a rating over 90, and 13 starting QBs threw 15 or more INTs. In 2003, there were 2 4,000 yard passers, most TDs thrown were 32, 6 QBs had a rating over 90, 13 QBs threw 15 or more INTs. 2004 was a weird outlier year, 5 QBs threw for 4,000 or more yards, most TDs thrown was 49 (Manning), 11 QBs had a rating over 90 (Including Drew Brees), 11 QBs threw 15 or more INTs. In 2005 8 QBs had a rating over 90, most TDs thrown were 32, 2 QBs threw for more than 4,000 yards, INTs were still incredibly high. In 2019, 14 QBs had a rating over 90, 11 QBs threw for 4,000 yards or more with one being over 5,000 yards, 6 QBs had 15 or more INTs.

NFL rules have made the game easier for QBs.
You are right. Every single rule that has been implemented has been to make offenses more exciting and high-scoring. Every single one of those rules have also protected the QB to an embarrassing level and made it almost impossible for DBs to even touch a WR. I would love to know just how records a QB like Staubach or Aikman could break playing by these powder-puff rules.

Are you suggesting defenses don't play differently when they have a near 30 point lead in the fourth quarter? Really?

Sure they do. But they still count. Are you suggesting that those 463 yards were racked up in ONLY the 4th quarter? GB had a huge lead in the 2nd quarter.

What folks? Do you goto other Cowboys sites because I have never heard ONE poster say that Dak is Tom Brady. Not once.

Are you talking about putting up lists where Dak and Brady are close in ranking? Because that surely isn't saying that Dak is Brady.

He was garbage vs GB?

He had two picks bounce off WRs hands, one was a walk-in TD and the defense was garbage most of the game.

Dak threw for 463 yards, real garbage performance.

This is why it is hard to take Dak haters seriously, you guys think everything is black and white and are totally unrealistic.
What is the result of these games where Dak has big numbers? There are too many of them that are losses because the stats don’t tell the story that these yards came in garbage time when opposing defenses were letting time run out.

Brady mentioned how much easier it is now to beat up on rookie defenders coming into the league compared to how it was when he became a starter. There is such an unfair advantage for defenders and it goes beyond protecting them from injuries, penalties hit defenses far too hard to the point DBs have to be jedis.

This intentional forgetting the discussions people had his rookie season is hilarious. Again, if threads were pulled up from 2016/2017, I can almost guarantee you were in these threads contributing.

You have a better memory than this. Those threads went on for a while and I can remember one poster in particular that started some of them. It bron’t remember if you was guilty of posting your support in these threads or not. If you did , I understand that you would be too embarrassed to admit it.

LOL "they still count"

I'm very glad Prescott can shred a prevent defense. If only that defense was for four quarters.

No, you Dak trolls just need something to exaggerate because you can't make a valid point.

So ONE guy said it? Oh wow! LOL

Who was the poster since you have such a great memory.

Yet you cant. All you can do is make wild claims with no evidence.

Thats what Trolls do.

Who was the genius that said?

-Dak is backup material
-Dak cant throw for big yards
-Dak cant carry an offense
-Dak cant throw for over 200 yards, 300 yards, 400 yards
-Dak will never throw for big yardage
-Dak isnt franchise material

And you were dead wrong about all of it

First off, he didn't throw for 5,000 yards....that was Winston. He's a FA now. It's kinda like passing yards are kinda meaningless or something.

What defenses did he shred last year? Can you show me what he did against the Patriots, Bills, and Saints and show me when he racked up those yards?

How many yards did Dak throw for? LOL I just want to see you say it.

Cowboys offense did what most offenses do against defenses like the Bills and Pats.

What did you expect against the #1 pats D in the wind and rain on the road? Is this your mountain of evidence?

What did Zeke do against those teams?
