Dak Is Now Going To Know What It Is Like Being Romo

Yep and the whole point of this useless thread is that somehow Dak=Romo because of yesterday.

No.
they're both not good enough until they prove otherwise. But right now Dak can't Hold Romo's jock. Yes I know Romo is gone. But we better pray Dak gets better than this or were not winning anything with him either.

Well I guess that's why they call you "Pessimist". :)

Personally, I hope Dak = Romo. That would be phenomenal.

Why, what did we win with Romo? So if Dak ends up with a 2-4 playoff record and he never gets the Cowboys past the second round of the playoffs, you'll be happy with that?

The Packers gave up 24.3 points per game. And that's skewed by some blowouts earlier in the season. In their last 8 games nobody even scored 30 on them... except Dallas. The most other than Dallas was 27.

It's not the historic catastrophe people are trying to spin it as to attack Dak.

Also Dak's early drives were killed by drops and penalties.
All of their last 8 opponents except Dallas were more or less offensively inept. I expect better from Dallas since they had to win on the back of their offense.

I tend to judge quarterbacks by what they do, not what the whole team does.

Maybe you don't have the all 22 but guys were wide open on the first 2 series. Just some misreads. It's expected a rookie QB has never won a super bowl.

I've seen enough film and games live to know that even the best QBs miss guys who are wide open. It happens a lot more frequently than most people realize. No I haven't seen the all-22 for this game but I'd be willing to bet that Rodgers missed seeing some guys who were wide open that could have had better results than what the play actually netted. If it didn't happen at least a couple times, it would be the exception, not the rule

Honestly, at some point if you're going to keep rooting against the Cowboys quarterback you need to get out of a Cowboy fan forum.

300 yards, 3 TD, 103 passer rating and fake garbage "fans" are trying to bury him in a game where the defense got dunked on start to finish.

The D had one job to do, and only had to do it for 35 seconds, and they went out like punks.

Well, Dak is well on his way to surpassing that. He's already at 0-1 in his rookie year.

You seem like one of the people who blamed Romo when the Cowboys lost 51-48 to Denver. 48 points should've won that game, 31 should've won yesterday. Unfortunately, the QB doesn't play defense.

Dak proved himself yesterday.
There is no doubt he will be starter for years to come and play at a high level.

Not for me.

I want Dak>Romo.
I like our chances of Dak and team doing better than Romo and team, if that's what your saying.

I'm in.

It'll be hard to compare the two players. I guess the closet they came to having a similar situation of dominant line and run game was Romo 2014 and Dak 2016.
But Romo was at the end then, so he won't get years of that going forward...but with hopefully a better defense like Dak will.

It all adds up to, I think, the Cowboys having a better playoff record with Dak...or it should.

I think the table is set to build a perennial challenger.

That's right by 8:15PM EST tonight I'm going to off the "I'm disappointed" train and fully on the "This is a good team–Let's make it better!" train.

Considering that no rookie QB has led his team to the Superbowl, Dak is in great company.
