I tend to judge quarterbacks by what they do, not what the whole team does.

That has to be one of the strangest statements I've ever read...wow! What a QB does has a huge impact on what the whole team does, just look at the Packers with Rodgers and NE with Brady. QBs are judged by how their teams play and if a team isn't getting it done they make a QB change.

It all comes back to the argument between people who judge a QB based on his individual performance over the whole game, and those babies who think the QB is supposed to be a ~*magical*~ win generator who never misses a pass and can make up for any failing of the rest of the team, and cries whenever that doesn't happen. Which it usually doesn't, because magic isn't real.

You seem like one of the people who blamed Romo when the Cowboys lost 51-48 to Denver. 48 points should've won that game, 31 should've won yesterday. Unfortunately, the QB doesn't play defense.

Half of this board Blamed Romo for that loss.

No.

If Dak would have thrown a pick 6 or fumbled at the end of the game when we were trying to tie or take the lead, then people would have compared him to Romo.
That's not to slam Romo because he's been great here. But believe me, if Dak would have choked at the end, the Dak is Romo in disguise memes would have broke the internet.
Trolls had them ready to go the minute it would have happened.
Sure sounded like a slam to me...

I've always wanted to ask you. Are you familiar with the Dunning Kruger Effect? You might want to look into it.

Well, Dak is well on his way to surpassing that. He's already at 0-1 in his rookie year.

Just because he's started 0-1 in the playoffs because of his defense doesn't mean he won't have playoff success down the road. He's already accomplished some things that Romo never accomplished like winning 11 straight games. He's already done as a rookie what Romo did only once in his entire career and that's win 13 games and lead the team to the #1 seed. Romo wasn't even the backup his rookie year and Dak has already developed into a franchise QB. If we can ever build a defense and keep this offense solid, he'll win a lot of playoff games and at least one championship.

Op has a history of posts that is so eager and biting at the bullet to dismiss Dak. So transparent. I see thru ur schemes OP. Hahaha. Not fooling me. Almost trollish. So much energy spent on anything to dismiss Dak and prop up Romo and trying to pit the fan base against each other. So much energy. What gives? Why? Is it that important to you having a civil war? We just lost a heart breaking game and u want to further drive a stake in to the cowboyszone heart by continuing this petty civil war material?

More strawmen from you guys.

He did not in any way shape or form discredit, dismiss or say anything even remotely negative about Dak. He didn't prop up Romo either.

He just pointed out how absurd that stupid idea that a QB wins or loses a game by himself is. Some of you Romo haters love to use it, maybe now you'll know better.

To me, Dak was a star but he needs to step up next year and take over things. Butler should have been screamed at by Dak, GET YOUR *** OFF THE FIELD DUMMY. Audible out of that bad alignment where he threw the screen that was intercepted. The mistakes in the first put your team in an impossible scene. I expect next year, all of that will be cleaned up.

Things I expect from Dak next season.

1. Any one on one match ups will be exploited.
2. Clam down when they get past the 50 yard line. Let these guys know in the huddle, we're in scoring range, no penalties.

We just need this offense to be dominant since that's where all of the resources are.

Just some useless trivia here...
That was the first time Dallas has gone one and done in the last three playoffs.
They won home games in 2009 and 2014.
I realize you know that, but just throwing it in there.

Also the first time Dallas has lost a playoff game that they were favored to win since 2007.

Granted, I am not looking that hard, but I am really not seeing many people putting this loss on Dak other than a few trolls and a few hard and fast Dak haters on this board.
In fact, it's been the complete opposite here in Green Bay. Both Dak and Zeke have been praised around here.

Who are these Dak haters? I have heard of them, but never seen them. And who has put this loss on Dak? Still haven't seen a single instance of that either.
