Again....i tend to agree for the most part.
If it seems small by comparison to the rest of the league....why is that and does it matter?
I mean the Cowboys have made a clear choice to get the ball out fast and throw it short to try to avoid turnovers.

I think that's a really stupid approach, but the ideology I think is pretty clear for them so far.

That was some harrowing times for the Dak-fans - oh crap the team doesn't need Dak to win.....get Dak back get Dak back. Dak comes back and sure enough, leads the league in INT's craps the bed against the 49-ers. But don't pay attention to that, look at how he beat up a weak Tampa team...look look. Dak fans really are pathetic.
well crap, when dak came back we put in all the bad players, and the ones who weren't bad were hurt.

If he could carry this team there wouldn't be so many Dak threads. Great QBs don't need convincing. All I know is he has regressed the last few years and last week the coach didn't even trust him to make any plays in the redzone.

I'm not even asking him to carry the team. Very few QB's can actually do that. I'm just asking him what I asked of Romo - don't hurt the team.

Interesting way to measure accuracy. What is a catchable pass? For example, is the pass Dak threw to CeeDee in the end zone that was incomplete considered a catchable pass?

I look at accuracy in terms of putting the ball into a tight space. Dak's pass to Gallup in the end zone against the Cardinals needed to be about 18 inches higher. Had the defender not been there is was a "catchable ball", but it was not where it needed to be.

Dak is not a wild thrower, but I don't see him as a precise thrower either. Its like a baseball pitcher who can get the ball over the plate but he can't paint the corners. He's not Wild Thing, but unless he throws 100 miles per hour he won't make it in the majors.

Much of that is because he was late throwing the ball. Throw it on time and it's a TD even with the PI. He's late throwing the ball which arrives too short. Timing throws have always been his weakness and that is why teams shut down the run and dare Dak to beat them with his arm.

Go ahead and say that you think they're a more serious contender with Cooper Rush.

It will make it much easier for people to understand that you have no clue.

I think he means people who trot out "cherry picked" stats to prove some agenda.
Surely you know the old quote about lies and stats.

100% this. Dak is too often late with his decisions to throw. He does that sometimes when he dumps it off in the flat. If he gets it out quicker the receiver has a chance to pick up yards, but when he holds it too long he give the defense a chance to come up and stop the play for a loss.

His intended air yards per attempt is 5.

5!

The fact that he’s not #1 in your graphs hurts him more than you think it helps him.
This is exactly true. Last season it was over 8 yards. I think he's dead last. However, there's more to that one statistic than most understand.

I'm trying to come up with a name for the offense. I prefer Dak compatible over Dak friendly since this is the offense they have to go with because of his limitations.
How about Dak downed?
