Stupid arguments bc this assumes Dan has always not had a run game, oline, or how bad he has played against good teams. It assumes he has a top ten season with his current roster which he won’t bc he doesn’t elevate others, he plays within the system. Think 2018 before signing cooper, dak wouldn’t have cracked top 20 without the addition. He’ll be below top 20 this year, want to bet on it?

Well his All-Pro, MVP candidate year happened last season.... last season we had a very weak running game that no opposing defense feared.

Maybe he will be top 20 this year. He still has a offense without a functioning running game and an even WEAKER defense this year....

With that said, do you have the names of those other quarterbacks who "doesn't have it" yet still been a perennial top 10 quarterback, became All Pro and MVP candidate in a one dimensional offense without a functioning running???

What are those other quarterbacks names???

I’m not a Dak hater! He does all the right things as far as being a leader, being a good influence & citizen, work ethic etc. But I’ve said this before & here it comes again, he doesn’t have that IT and now on top of that, his arm strength is showing real signs of weakness!
First the arm strength. Its been very evident in the 1st two games as he’s not comfortable throwing intermediate to long throws hard & we’re now seeing check down Charlie! He’s been too apt to try to finess it in which doesn’t work in the NFL.
Second, everyone has a choking point, except the great ones! Dak has shown to play great in mostly home games against inferior teams but when he is up against tougher teams when he’s needed most, he’s most of the time a big nothing burger!
The Cowboys should have let him play out this season, paid him the 55 million & moved on! But now we’re stuck for the next 5-6 years with a Dak who’s not going to get better but only worse! The Cowboys need to start drafting QB’s every year and if they end up with Dak & his 60 million on the bench, so be it!!
It's not so much 'he hasnt got it', it's that he hasnt got ENOUGH, to overcome the deficiencies that any team has when they're paying QB such a high CAP% of: (17% this season)...... 30%, 23%, 20%, 20%.

Add in the fact that there's Blueprint on how to beat: Cowboys (run - both sides of the ball), Dak (get a lead and make him throw), and we're in the perfect storm.

The problem was exacerbated due to the 4 year contract, which has severely restricted the ability to 'upgrade' on the number of JAG's we have (especially on Defense).

As most will (possibly correctly) say is 'what about the Defense', well we've had to of the better DC's in Quinn and Zimmer and the results the same.....maybe the JAG's are to blame, but when you're paying two elite contracts on the Offense it's hard to point the finger on a Defense on which we pay peanuts.

I'm very surprised you don't run your own nfl team. So very aggressive about how your opinion is super bowl caliber.

In reality you are no more gifted than the rest of us shlubs you mock and ridicule. You just haven't realized it yet.

Maybe on your death bed? Not that I want that to happen soon. We can suffer through it I am sure!
son, you will be surprised how much more I know than you....

and sorry you little feelings are hurt and think I am aggressive. I try to be gentler with you (lightly patting you on the head).

and yes, Lance sucks...its my opinion. and not sure where you read ridicule in my comments, perhaps you are fishing for something that's not there.

and now, you are so upset you bring up death wishes!!! really. seriously..... wow. just wow son. you are losing it...althought you neve had it to begin with..........

Dak has never had a strong arm (I’d say average to slightly above average) and he’s always lacked elite arm talent, but it seems like his arm strength has really diminished this year. It makes me wonder if there is an injury we don’t know about.

I assure...my feelings are not hurt...but thank you for your genuine, sincere concern for my well-being.

So I'd be surprised eh? So surprise me then. Give your qualifications and accomplishments.

'Son"...how cute!

And no...I didn't "wish" for anything...more making stuff up your head. Shall I quote myself to remind you what j actually said?

Dak plays better with a lead, most Quarterbacks do. Dak could have made that game a shootout, he didn't.
I look at the over throw to Lamb early for 6 points, the under thrown wheel route to Dowdle for 6 points, the missed pass to Zeke in flats for 6 points in 2nd half
and the two early 4th quarter possessions down 35-19. If we can score 6 points on one of them we had a game, instead he forced it into double coverage for the INT, game over.

Our Defense was so bad, our run game was so bad it's hard to blame Dak, but I wasn't very impressed him either. He missed some really easy throws

Don't project on me. I don't engage to "feel better about myself".

You are the one that bragged about your credentials. So say what they are then, this is no time to play coy about it. I wouldn't care if you hadn't mentioned how accomplished you are.

Managing 2 year Olds is extremely impressive....seriously!

I thought you did a great job ensuring you talked about all the other issues along with dak's. It's gonna be very difficult to give you the hater label.;):)

Dak lost his legs and now he is losing arm strength. And he ain't getting smarter lol
We aren’t blaming Dak now.. We have been blaming Dak and now the defense has caught up to him, so we are blaming them both.. but it’s Jerry’s fault for the Jason Garrett of QBs training experiment..

The personnel including the defense was definitely good enough to make a real run both times they played the 49ers in the playoffs..

You just helped it by responding. Ignore threads like this if you don't like them.

As to the OP, I agree that Dak is showing he was a weak arm. His deep hrows were terrible yesterday. Weak and inaccurate. Guys from the 1960s could throw 20 to 30 yards further than Dak can right now.
lol I swear every ball that was further down the field was like a 50/50 ball, shouldn't be like that. Can he ever put a pass further so the WR can run to it and maybe run to it and run in the end zone?? Sheesh

I mean he threw some ducks Sunday for sure, the 50/50 long ball can be the throw it can also be sepration..Turpin is the only WR we have that can legit smoke a DB without them blowing coverage..so you will get 50/50 balls because the others cant burn when compared to DB's...When CD gets a "Wide Open" ball its usually a blown coverage or a busted play...other wise the DB's are all over him and he just makes a great catch.. we seem to think Turpin is only good for jet sweeps and button hooks in the seam (that will get him killed)
