How do you come up with this odd reply
its not odd. its a response to everyone who keeps saying, look at what mahomes can do...well duh....there are 31 other starting QBs in the league that aren't mahomes. he is a generational talent.

The defense looked even worse than it did against Green Bay in the playoffs. I see no difference in the defense under Zimmer than under DQ at least so far. One week the D looks great and the next week they look like garbage. Baltimore has been one of the best running teams over the years with Jackson. Could be a real nightmare next week if we don’t figure something out. Jackson could be ripping off one long run after another.
Its game 2…

Teams grow as the season goes on.

Its like you guys have never watched football before.

On top of that the league is not a defensive league. So asking for consistency is just silly and you’ve ignored what todays NFL is all about.

The game caters to Fantasy Football. That’s the reality.

I think the problem becomes when Dak isn’t doing anything special and you pay him like he’s special.

That’s a problem whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

Dak’s getting way too much heat for yesterdays game but I don’t need yesterdays game to know that Dak is nothing but a front runner and is not a big game player.

meanwhile in chiefs land, mahomes won another game scoring 26 points, and the chiefs havent allowed more than 25 points in a game since 2022..

28 points should win every game that has ever been played. we have no running game, our defense is terrible, and we have one legit receiver.. this isn't a qb problem. the first int was on the receiver, after that it was desperation mode for dak, and it wouldnt have mattered at all what he did, tds or int. the defense wouldnt have gotten the stop.

Fans were saying that last year after AZ road graded us in week three. Nothing is going to change, this is what we’re going to see the rest of the season. The defense will look great in some games and in some other games they’ll look terrible. I can assure you this isn’t the last beat down we’re going to see this season and the defense will be the primary reason. We’ve added a new DC with some new players and we’re seeing the same thing we saw last season. It’s like you haven’t watched the team before.

If you haven’t realized there’s a troubling pattern going on with the defense. We’ve been struggling against the run for years. Every defense is going to have a bad game, but to get totally destroyed the way our defense does after a dominating performance the week prior doesn’t happen to championship caliber teams. I’ve never seen a Jekyll and Hyde defense like the one we have. There has to be some consistency.

You can just go from one extreme to the other, from one week to the next and expect to be a great team. My gosh, the Cowboys tied a franchise record by giving up 35 points in the first half and this was at home against a team they were favored against. The Cowboys aren’t going anywhere this season.

Look around the league. It’s league wide. Its not a Cowboys issue.

Also, you paid Lamb and Dak a ton of money so expecting perfection is just silly at this point.

This is what you guys wanted.

Point to a team that’s blowing teams out one week and getting blown out the next, primarily because of their defense? Expecting the team not to give up 35 points in a half is expecting perfection? No one is expecting perfection, but in our last two home games, our defense has given up 40+ points. That’s acceptable to you? I’m okay with a down performance by the defense, but not a complete embarrassment where we’re tying a franchise record for giving up points in a half. We have some talent on defense, there’s no way we should look as bad as we did yesterday. We have one of the top defensive players in the league and he was a complete no-show yesterday. He was being blocked out by tight ends. He was standing on the sidelines sucking air. By the way, don’t turn this into an argument about our QB.

You may be right, but with Garrett who was never a legit NFL Head Coach and Mike who it seems the league has clearly passed him by, it hard to say how much of it all is on him. Or has he carried coach-less teams to multiple winning seasons...

Why did it take so many on here to just now see this? Dak’s the same as he’s always been.
Modern man is hypnotized by the Talking Head Media. Many gravitate to and hold fast to the opinions of those idiots. Unable to be subjective they fall in line like the living dead.

They believe none of what they see and believe only what they choose to hear

When were good in the 90's anyone could argue it was because of the OLine, RB, QB, WR, or DLine, DB's or LB's.

When we lose anyone could argue it was because of all of the above.

I still believe it all starts in the trenches.

people on this board keep getting hung up on the numbers and associate that with having to play like brady, etc.

in today's NFL 12 QBs make over 40. 9 make over 50. and the contracts are keep going to go up. 4 years ago, people said hey he is highest paid player. two weeks later watson got paid more and then so and and so on. and wash, rinse repeat. its the NFL QB market.

and we can either evaluate the whole everything and go back and forth for 48 pages...., but this thread was about yesterday's game. the game we lost yesterday was not on him. he couldn't bring us back, so people are faulting him for that.

Exactly, and the Dak Love proves why we truly are America's team

It is good to see many wake up to this fraud but what took so long? And look the senile GM goes ahead and pays him any way.

It boggles the mind

Ok we can pay a QB but lets find one 1st? And in the mean time lets allocate the 60 million to other parts of the team.

Dak is a dime a dozen and there is absolutely no reason to break the bank to keep him
