I mean why waste your time typing all this, instead of answering the question?

You seem to be operating under this bogus assumption that Jerry or Dak’s enemies don’t want to sign him to “exact retribution”. I already told you the reality is, Dak is mediocre, the Packers game just 1 of many that prove it and the facts of the matter is we didn’t want Jerry to give him that unearned contract in the first place. We always thought he was a mediocre QB, riding the coattails of a good roster on a garbage division. He has been the weak link and all signs point to Jerry finally having enough of it. It’s multiple years in a row where Jerry directly pointed to Dak as the primary reason for not going anywhere, “We will go as far as Dak takes us.”

If Dak held all the cards, then he can just sit. But you said he doesn’t want to risk paying a fine, yet if Dallas needs him, then Jerry will back up the truck, like he did for Lamb, to sign him. But that’s clearly not happening. We all saw Dak at the cancer hospital playing good boy for Jerry.

You fanboys also claimed he would be signed by March, as Jerry needed him. Now we are here and you are spinning him not signing as part of sons grand plan by Dak and his agent.

It’s cute though… you are right, Dak doesn’t know either of us exist. Yet you seem to be the one defending him like you are Tad and he’s the second coming of Brady, yet in year 8 they were dumbing the offense down for him.
It’s not about “cards”. However good a quarterback Dak is, he’s the best one the Cowboys have now. He’s not going to “sit” and not collect his game checks. He’s going to play. You don’t like that Dak is fine with his situation. He is good to go. As he should be. He is under contract and is going to honor it. He’s not going to dishonor himself and renege on a deal he agreed to. If Dak signs with the Cowboys it will only be because Jerry met his demands. I think he’ll leave. I need a good season out of him, though, for reasons not allowed to be mentioned here. Suffice to say I’m glad the team came to terms with CeeDee.

So it’s about “honor” now.. What happened to him holding all the cards? I thought you said you didn’t know Dak. Tad, is that you?

I mean you even said you believe the reason they are negotiating yet is because Jerry is scared to negotiate with Todd France..

BOLD> What the hell does this mean? If it can't be mentioned, then why mention something like this? Hmmm....

I think the only ones worried about wasting $40M in cap space next year are Dak's fans, otherwise FO would've signed him even before the preseason.

I think he's gone unless Jerry breaks the bank. There is no incentive for him to return here..
I hope you are right! Dallas has nothing to gain by breaking the bank for Dak. Hopefully, Jerry has learned his lesson and will not overpay.

Dak is not going to do anything that will diminish his value. The compensation he seeks is substantial. Owners don’t like players under contract holding out. Dak is going to go about his business and take what comes. That’s what annoys Cowboys fans the most. He is not suffering, at all. He threw some picks in a playoff game and it’s all good.

It just doesn’t seem right.

He'll have lived a good life, right?

If that is his true mindset, and its not eating him up constantly that he's played bad against GB and SF twice, then he will never be a champion.

I will watch the games of course but not super excited about our chances this year. When the first game starts , it will probably change some and I'll get super excited . Then we'll have the usual let down that usually happens if we make the post season.

Dak has given disappointment after disappointment. He's not deserving of a huge extension.
I mean you’re entitled to that. You make the playoffs every year with him….you pay him knowing someday he will get over the hump? Or just start over when you’re 80 years old?

Can’t have a let down forever.
