Official report says an MRI revealed a muscle strain in Dak's right shoulder. Dak says they will be smart about it and get it treated. Sounds like a day to day thing; but it now looks like we won't be seeing him in preseason games after all. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Probably a blessing in disguise if they were gonna play him…

You really think it would not a bad thing that the guy that hasn't played any real football since week 4 of last year could not see preseason games? How could you possibly come to that conclusion?

If he really misses the preseason because his arm is sore then we have some serious problems here.

What about the implosion before the injury? They were 1-3 and headed down the toilet. In the end Dalton won more games than Dak.
The 3 games show you how much this offense changed when dalton took over. So your argument is dalton>dak? These trolls die on the worst hills.

Preseason won’t automatically make him ready for the season……

MRI shows a muscle strain.

Man, anyone who was arguing it’s just Dak being lazy and not caring sure looks like an idiot right about now.

This is concerning for a Qb in his mid 20’s. “We’ll get treatment everyday” is what Dak said. For a QB that already struggles with accuracy I’d be very concerned.

The entire NFL missed the entire preseason last year.

Dude got an MRI for a muscle strain? Was he really milking it THAT much? Soft.

Why does my arm hurt from throwing a football?
When a muscle or tendon is overworked, it can become inflamed. The rotator cuff is frequently irritated in throwers, resulting in tendinitis. Early symptoms include pain that radiates from the front of the shoulder to the side of the arm. Pain may be present during throwing, other activities, and at rest.
