The only way MM will survive is if he gives up the Offense. He's a dinosaur. Even then, his game management is horrible. With that said, his players haven't given up on him like they did FF3. (Wade). So I'll give him that. He just has to be willing to let someone else run the O or he is done.

Talk the talk. Walk the walk. Oh wait Dak can't walk. Speaking of walking this entire organization needs a trip to Antarctica.

I wonder if Dak saying that, especially about the "more influence" and "on his terms" finally got Jerry to think he made a mistake resigning Dak because it was a subtle callout about Jerry?

Don't get me wrong, Dak earned a little more respect from me by saying this. It needs to be said by everyone on the team. It's not that I want McCarthy back, it's just ANY coach needs control and Jerry won't allow it.

Pretty telling statement “on his terms”. One can only take that as this roster is littered with players that don’t fit MM plan. Probably even zimmer not being the preferred DC. Jerry will win this battle every time. It will be same issue with anybody that they hire and lack of candidates interest. For example, ben Johnson will be interested.

No coach works on 'his terms' in Dallas.

Jerry hires the coaches, drafts then players, signs the free agents, trades the draft picks, signs the extensions, and does the press conferences and radio shows. There are no terms but what Jerry sets.

"Amongst more influence," and "on his terms."

Thats telling...

I was ready to tell Dak to be quiet, but this is yet another demonstration of how dysfunctional we are.
Yet when you ask what it means to him he'll say something robotic!! Nope be transparent and say JERRY IS IN THE WAY

He kept his stepson Garrett for a decade.
Hardly nothing that Jerry does nowadays shocks me anymore.

Dak is as tone deaf as they come. No one wants to hear from an overpaid, injured QB that was playing poorly before he got hurt.

At this point, a strong finish all but guarantees another status quo, run it back, we’re hanging around the rim type limbo.

This team needs a hard reset. And Dak needs to do his talking on the field. I am tired of hearing him blow hot air up our collectives *****

Getting embarrassed by Cincy might be the final turd in the pool that actually forces JJ to admit defeat and clean things up. But I won’t hold my breath lol

I'm not a big fat Mike fan, but I'm also not a fan of just promoting some random coordinator. Look at the Giants. One failure after another.

MM was an OC in SF in 05 . Everyone has to start somewhere before they get the HC call . In fact I rather they go the OC route as the next HC then hire a DC as HC .
