Dak should take 5 of the 60 million and split a 10 million a yr MM salary with Jerry . And it’s probably tax deductible. If Dak feels that strongly about it .

Take the QB position seriously for the first time since Aikman.

Stop building teams around these 4th round/undrafted losers that will fail.

It’s incredibly simple.

You get a QB and it changes everything overnight.

Look at Washington, Pittsburgh, Texans, Lions, Falcons, Vikings, Broncos, Bucs, and Packers.

That’s 9 teams that got a new QB within the past couple of seasons and are currently in the playoffs or on the bubble.

Cooper Rush is 2-2 through 4 games this year just like the 60 mil man was through the first 4 games.

Finding a QB that can change things isn’t as hard as some of y’all want to believe it is.

How do you get in position to draft that high to get a blue chip 1st round QB . Unless you still draft a QB first round no matter what and you run the risk of Daniel Jones Kenny Pickett Mac Jones Ryan Leaf Zach Wilson …if it blows up you really pay the price .

I do know after 8 seasons of mediocre to substandard playoff record this owner should have played 24 out before handing out ridiculous $$ to a 4th rounder .

Strong “Drafting Mahomes is scary. We just need to draft more help for Alex Smith” vibes from you, bro.

And he's right. Jerry screwed up the roster construction in the offseason. We are one of few franchises where the owner seems to have significantly more control than the coach over roster construction. Jerry needs to let McCarthy buy the groceries.
Exactly..............Dak is talking about the head coach having control.

Like the whole running back by committee thing, when asked about it MM said "it was not his preference" to do that and that he preferred having a lead back. Then why the hell did they do it that way for 10 weeks???

Answer............because it was not MM's decision to make.

That is what Dak seems to be alluding to here, that "on his terms" means a head coach gets to make the calls on who plays and who does not, ect.....

Problem is that is not going to happen in Dallas, not for MM and not for anybody else even if MM is fired the next guy aint getting full control.

Exactly, and like Dak, I think Mike is a good coach. He just needs to either be allowed to buy the groceries, or he needs someone who knows what they're doing and will be in contact with him BEFORE making decisions.
