Twitter: Dak: "My confidence is through the roof"

It's an obvious thing to say, but odd to point out about yourself. Shrug.
Yep but certain positions in pro sports demand that kind of statement.

He is more than just a little aware that he is not the favorite of quite a few fans.

I think he is also aware of the thinking that he's not a risk taker like some of the others and plays it a little more safe in ball protection.

I do wonder with him how much concern for making a mistake plays into it. No QB catches hell for that like the DC QB, just ask Romo. It is the QB hot seat in the NFL.

I think with most of these guys, there are two QB's. The one they show us and the one they keep inside.

I just wish one of these years that the talk of all these players would result in better playoff success. Seems like every year we hear the same thing.
Not easy when the refs screw us with 14 penalties in a home playoff game.

A lot to overcome for any QB.

Oh, plus a RB we’re paying a ton who puts up 12-31 in that same playoff game.

Not really.

When you had the injury he had, he probably knew he had pain and other issues with his leg that he thought would just be the new norm for him. So he didn't know it would feel as good as it does now.

When you are dragging your leg, it is hard to be confident in abundance.

Ok good point … maybe he was unsure of himself last year? I just found it odd.

I don’t follow other NFL teams much.Do their players, coaches and owner hype their team and themselves up in similar ways?
