Dak needs to play better than those guys.

OL will be a sieve and new WR corps is untested.

How many he won out of those 9?

lot of yards throwing has been Dallas QBs life , since D cant hold a lead , hopefully this year we will see it differently.

No he doesn't. Dak ain't those 2. His best ability is making easy completions without forcing turnovers. I do think he needs to push the ball more in certain situations but he knows his limits.

Lil bit rough on Barry but to each his own.
I was only negative ever towards Barry just because I felt he checked out too early IMO.
Don't get me wrong.....very exciting runner. I went to his highlights...and I stand by my opinion that o-line wasn't as bad as people make them out to be. Sometimes Barry danced instead of hitting the hole- Emmitt style.

And let's say the oline WAS bad? Did barry care to do much blocking? I don;t see it.

Dak needs to play his own game. He’s a mobile QB who has his strength and needs to use them to his advantage.
What are his strengths?
What are couple of things he does that are EXCEPTIONAL?
Can he move like Larmar Jackson.
Can he pass like Aaron Rogers.
Does he have undisputable leadership like Brady?

There isn’t anything he does exceptionally well but he does a number of things very well. You certainly can’t compare his leadership to the GOAT but his leadership is one of his strongest attributes. Like I mentioned earlier he needs to play to his strengths and he has several of them. He may not be able to move like Lamar Jackson but he can pass the ball better. He can’t pass better than Aaron Rodgers but how many can?

I wasn't comparing him to Zeke, and not even Emmitt, but I hear you and respect your opinion.

So, if he's not the runner like Jackson is. Or the passer like Rogers is. Or the leader Brady is, he must be somewhere in the middle, maybe slightly higher, than your average NFL QBs

Kyler Murray is the only QB in the league that can run with Jackson. Because the Dak isn’t the leader that Brady is and can’t pass the ball as well as Aaron Rodgers that makes him maybe slightly higher than your average NFL QB? Lol You can spin whatever you want but he’s a lot better than your average NFL QB.

Okay. Let change my initial question.
What does Dak Prescott do "very well" (whatever that means)?

He passes the ball very well despite some of the criticisms he gets about his accuracy. His production, completion percentage and passer ratings point to him passing the ball very well. He’s an excellent leader and no one who knows football questions that. He may not run like Lamar Jackson but he has very good mobility and strength. If he didn’t do a lot of things very well he wouldn’t be making the kind of money he’s making. If you don’t like him and think he’s only slightly above average that’s your opinion.

I think Dak needs to play like he is Manning and Brady. I enjoy watching qb's who can scramble, leave the pocket, make plays happen, but not as much as I enjoyed watching those 2 work in the pocket. I am not saying dak will be as good in the pocket as them, but

Brady and Manning
-move in the pocket, if the sack is coming tuck the ball and go down
-throw the ball away
-throw to the rb to avoid pressure
-have quick slants available

If the offensive line play is subpar, or takes time to develop:
1.How do you think the cowboys can counter that?
2.How do you think Dak should play?
3.Do you think the cowboys can be in the top 15 in offense?
4.Can the cowboys make the playoffs?

I think dak needs to tuck the ball and go down and throw it away over trying to make plays. Let the defense and special teams give opportunities and win field position. Our punter is a major weapon.
I love and support Dak as the QB of my Dallas Cowboys, but he’s no Manning or Brady or any other HOF QB you might name. He’s a good, above average QB and leader. It’s up to the coaches to run the correct sets and plays with blocking help where needed. We must run the ball well enough to keep his pass attempts at 35-40 max….less is better. If we have to ask him to pass 45-50 times per game behind this blocking and forcing us into the short pass game, we aren’t likely to be very successful.

Most of this is scheme as well. I agree though.

That will never happen... Barry had passion for the game; Zeke is only there for a pay check.
I get some of the disdain for Zeke, but this couldn't be more far from the truth regardless of him battling for his paycheck.

Go ahead and see what it feels like to throw yourself in front of guys that outweigh you by 50-100 lbs running full speed to protect your QB.

As some who has always been slight in frame, and has wrestled I can assure you it's brutal even in pads.

I deal with pain on the daily due to that, and not to mention playing football, and basketball.
