I like to picture Dakota in a Tuxedo T-shirt, ’cause it says, like, ‘I wanna be formal, but I’m here to party, too.’ I like to party, so I like my Dak to party…. I like to think of Dakota like, with giant eagles’ wings and singin’ lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an Angel Band, and I’m in the front row, and I’m hammered drunk…

I like my dak to be all jaked up on mountain dew. I want my dak to come at them like a spider monkey. I want my dak to scissor kick them in the back of the head.

Dak needs to play better than those guys.

OL will be a sieve and new WR corps is untested.

Dak is neither of those guys and isn’t going to magically transform into either of those guys.

I think Dak needs to play like he is Manning and Brady. I enjoy watching qb's who can scramble, leave the pocket, make plays happen, but not as much as I enjoyed watching those 2 work in the pocket. I am not saying dak will be as good in the pocket as them, but

Brady and Manning
-move in the pocket, if the sack is coming tuck the ball and go down
-throw the ball away
-throw to the rb to avoid pressure
-have quick slants available

If the offensive line play is subpar, or takes time to develop:
1.How do you think the cowboys can counter that?
2.How do you think Dak should play?
3.Do you think the cowboys can be in the top 15 in offense?
4.Can the cowboys make the playoffs?

I think dak needs to tuck the ball and go down and throw it away over trying to make plays. Let the defense and special teams give opportunities and win field position. Our punter is a major weapon.

Hopefully our patchwork offensive line can play like Manning and Brady's offensive line played. Dak can't block for himself too.....

That will never happen... Barry had passion for the game; Zeke is only there for a pay check.

So how did Zeke have the collegiate career he had if he didn't have passion??? How does Zeke truck opponents, throw thunderous blocks and play injured if he doesn't have passion???

Last i checked, it takes passion to do all of those things.

To be fair, he played for the Lions. That organization will steal your soul. Look at Matt Stafford for a comparison.

Barry did, however, fall asleep on the sidelines.
Add Megatron - another on the list of great NFL players whose careers were mired in the long history of Detriot Lions football.

Dak needs to play his own game. He’s a mobile QB who has his strength and needs to use them to his advantage.

Never once in Payton Mannings career has he ever thrown for 4,900 yards. Dak Prescott has. The only person Dak need to be is Dak and this team will be fine. He done things neither Manning or Brady have done in this league and it's about damn time he gets the respect he deserves.

Zeke quit after he got paid. Apparently that makes them 2 peas in a pod, huh? At least Barry toughed it out for 10 seasons with one of the worst franchises in NFL history, or at least the last 60 years. A person can only take so much.

So playing injured willingly is giving up??? Yeah ok....

Dak is not even in the same conversation as half the QB's in the league right now, much less two of the best of all-time.

Dak is ranked in the top 10 out of 32 starting quarterbacks in the league by the NFL official statisticians. His production put him in the top 10.

So your statement makes no sense according to his ranking. How can Dak not be in the conversation with other quarterbacks that he's clearly better than??? Im not saying Dak is better than Brady or Manning.

Care to explain this false statement?? You said half of the quarterbacks in the league, correct?? Ok, here's your opportunity to name the 16 quarterbacks Dak isn't in the same conversation with. Or are you just another Dak hatin liar....

I also think zeke should run like Barry sanders.
Ya, not happening and McGovern should play like Larry Allen, and just throw in he should play equally as well as Moose Johnson.
Jerry is highly invested in FLEX players.

He played 10 seasons for a horrible organization, and seems to have all brain cells intact. That is passionate enough for most people.
Poeple like you pretend the lions were terrible. They are not as bad as Barry-apologists say. BArry had a knack for dancing and Emmitt hit the hole. ANd Barry straight up quit.

If the o-line was so bad...why didn't barry block like Zeke does?

Not thanks

So you want him to run around the backfield in a panic?
Cmon now, Barrys panic was just his way of breaking defensive ankles, man had some serious shakes for a reason, his OL sucked!!!!!
Just think what he could have done behind Emmitts OL.

It's my opinion....the o-line wasn't as bad as people say.

Barry could break ankles sure.....negative yards!

Lil bit rough on Barry but to each his own.
I was only negative ever towards Barry just because I felt he checked out too early IMO.

Let him watch Rodgers. He is for me the best of using his OL blocks.

It will be a tough year for Prescott. He still didnt developed a feel for the OL blocks and how to buy himself time. How fast he gets happy feet when there is no pressure near makes me often shake my head. I hope we will give our Tackles a lot of help this year. Will limit our offense but will protect him better.
