Yes, the average is 33. If a team wants to rebalance that average, they can. It could still be 33, but instead, 33 each year.He's got one more year of "bargain" and then his cap hit jumps to 40M in 2022 and 42M in 2023. Houston is a smart team and realize they won't be able to trade him without that one bargain year.

You're right that if they don't redo it in some way, it will only be in the teens one year then explode to future Dak level cap hits of 40 or so....that is, assuming Dak gets 40/yr that some say he wants.
But my post was just the facts and not misleading at all. 33/yr average any way we slice it.
