:huh:......jumped two years into the future??? Well you cant just ignore the future CAP, especially when your argument is "well he was cheap for the last two years".

I dont even understand what those words are supposed to mean in the second paragraph?

....and not to hurt your repeated sensitivities towards Dak, i'm not blaming him, just pointing out that the forthcoming contract extension is going to involve a big CAP hit from the start.
I never said you can't ignore. but every team manages future cap hits, they either extend and at some point they cut and move on, taking dead cap hit, ala what we did with Zeke. its not a new phenomenon. it happens ALL THE TIME. and when we do take the big cap hit, its a rebuild process. so you can't say I am handicapped today, because I fear 2,3,4 years down the line.

As I was told above, we cant restructure Daks $61m prorated CAP hit 2024-26.
