It's called loyalty and hope. Whatever it is, it's not "secret love" or "unhealthy obsession" or capitulation.

You seem to imply there's only 2 possible feelings: 1) secret love for Dak, 2) open love for Dak. Really?
My point wasn’t even Dak related….you’re arguing a point that I’m not making lol.

But is that sense of urgency you have when you really need to take a piss at a sports stadium and the line is out the bathroom door?

I don't see any middle ground with this season.......we either will unexpectedly kill it or fall apart with a top-10 draft pick

Dak could be playing for the Rams next year, who knows. Regardless, he will play somewhere else and get paid. He is sitting pretty.

I haven't seen "urgency" from this team in a long, long, long time. This is the most laid-back culture in the NFL, with Cap Boy asleep at the wheel.

"I'm a gambling man."

His overcautious nature is one of his biggest drawbacks on the field.
No, V chap, Dak's interceptions and braindead play at the end of playoff games is his biggest drawback.

Talk hasn't meant anything with Dak in the past. He tries to "say all the right things" but things remain the same. He's always satisfied, as is.

All I know is a quote like "We were tired" does not excuse such a pitiful playoff performance. And even worse yet, it came from a defensive captain.

This specifically contradicts the terms sense of urgency.

It was all set up for them last year.

Whether its Dak or Tank doing the talking, there was no sense of urgency then. As long as we toe Jerry's line of relativity everything can remain status quo like he likes it.

And there still isnt any sense of urgency.

The best QBs are gamblers and risk takers. Funny how those criticizing Dak for being a risk taker actually praised Romo for doing the same?
