Shouldn't a great leader & great player be able to inspire those around him?
Maybe it isn't working for Dak because he isn't as great as many of you would like to think.
I TOTALLY agree with this statement!!! That's why I find it hilarious how Matt Stafford, a first round pick gets so many excuses for having a 11-72 record vs winning teams.
I don't want to here the bs about winning a Superbowl with the Rams. Stafford led the league in interceptions the year the Rams won the Superbowl, so he got carried to a ring by a great team. A great quarterback doesn't have an 11-72 record vs winning teams.
A great quarterback is supposed to elevate the talent around him, correct?? Exactly.
Now Dak isn't an elite quarterback, but the man has never had a losing season as a quarterback, he's been a perennial top 10 quarterback, and last season, he became an All Pro and a MVP candidate WITHOUT a functioning running game.
Again, he's not elite, but he's a damn good quarterback. I personally do not feel he is worth 60 million per year however.
