No, it's because they're getting similar results with a QB who is making 58 mil less a season.
You honestly think Rush is capable of winning 12 games and winning a playoff game? We’ve won our last two games with him because our defense, pass rush and special teams have stepped up. We’ve scored 21 points the past two games with defense and special teams. That wasn’t happening when Dak was playing. We’ve beaten two teams that haven’t won a game in weeks because our defense has played the best it has all season and we’ve gotten breaks. Our passing game struggled on Thursday just as bad as the Giants but we finally had a 100 yard rusher. We wouldn’t get far with Cooper Rush and every fan out there that has an ounce of a clue and is keeping it real knows it. The only good team we beat was the Steelers and that was with Dak.

It's funny, when you're talking about the coach, what matters is the failure of not winning more in the playoffs, and that's why he needs to go.

But when it's Dak, what matters is winning 12 regular season games.
You need to win games in the regular season to make the playoffs. With Philly and an up and coming Washington team it’s going to take at least 11-13 wins practically every season to win the East. It’s going to take double digit wins to secure a wildcard. No team moves on from a QB who wins double digit games practically every season,

I can easily imagine plenty of Cowboys fans who would choose suffering a few more years of Mike McCarthy if it meant getting rid of Dak Prescott. Are there any fans out there that would choose the opposite?
There is a good chance we end up with both for the next 4 years.

It wasn’t well built team. You can’t go draft after draft missing constantly. He was already older than Dak when Jerry started building the Oline and then you want to talk about how good he had it. lol
Not quite Big_D....no need to twist the narrative. We had decent teams, don't do that. And if you want to talk age....Dak already getting heaped with criticism far more than Romo ever got in his whole career. Don't do that.

No way am I picking a fat guy yes man who’s standing on the sidelines, who’s won one playoff game in 5 years over a QB who’s won more games for us.

And there's the problem. As long as we keep drafting the Kelvins and Trystens and Tacos and Mazis and average TE's in the 2nd, we are quite simply not going anywhere. Need an NFL head at the top of the heap, not Jerry drinking and groping and falling for stupid crapp.

The league is still laughing at us for falling for the Escobar hype.
Can't argue with any of this

LOL. There it is again.

The wins are Dak's. The losses are McCarthy's. It's hilarious.

That’s your take and you’re wrong. Players win games, not someone standing on the sidelines. A QB is more important than a coach. Belichick would have been looking for work many years ago if it wasn’t for Tom Brady. I’m certainly not saying Dak is Brady but you should get the point. There’s a reason Dak gets paid a heck of a lot more than an HC.

Does this guy know that he’s talking nonsense?

I can do the same thing….

No way am I picking an overpaid/crippled/declining QB who’s standing on the sidelines, who’s won one playoff game in 5 years over a head coach who’s led the team to more wins for us.

Having decent players does not equal a decent team. The only consistency was in the passing offense. How many years did the D lead the league in turnovers or the running back lead the league? Oline gets drafted in the 1st round pretty much every year at this point. Then come playoff time the offense is lucky to cross the 50. The QBs aren’t remotely close talentwise or situation and the criticism is more than warranted.

Yeah, MM, and it's not close. MM is a middle of the pack legit HC. No, he's far from great, but he's the best we've had since Tuna.
I rather start looking for the next QB and keep McCarthy than think it’s a good idea to swap coaches and keep the QB. And then still go nowhere.

I get that most Cowboys fans these days would choose choice C - blowing up the team and kicking the Jones Klan to the curb. I was just curious if there were fans out there who would rather suffer with Dak over MM.
its like asking "How would you like your death" because if Jerry is in the equation, whats the diference? What coach/player has worked since Jerry implemented "Jerry's Way" i do think its funny whatching people tell me how the new coach or new QB will change things..THIS TIME Jerry will get it right!..lol

I'd keep Big Mike. Dak is done. A statue in the pocket.
Holds the ball too long.

By the way, stating that Rush gets the ball out quicker than Dak is not equal to saying Rush should be the permanent starter. Yet it is a point that's been made by every commentator that's done a Cooper Rush game.

So yeah, keep the HC and find him a QB. There’s a retread every year that resurrects his career. Mayfield, Darnold, Geno Smith, Russell Wilson, etc. Then draft a QB often, every draft if that's what it takes.
And then fire McCarthy with the new QB
