And 3 of those passes look to be just past the 10 yard mark. So let's extend it to 12 yards and say he attempted 2 passes the entire game over 12 yards.

161 yards passing against one of the worst pass defenses in the league. And he's flexing on the field.

He's the guy benching just the bar and getting up sticking his chest out.

Our franchise QB.

My take is that 3 of your 4 spoiler alerts had about 2X the number of passes (Dak 25 attempts) (Rapistburger at 50, Winston at 48, and Foles at 49). Only Foles looks outstanding but that because of his 470 yards. Double Daks attempts and you get the desired 300+ yard game. Right?

One other note about your examples. Only Foles had an int.. Interesting. Thanks for the informative post ... I like illustrations.

Disappointing & disturbing. You've got to take more shots downfield than that. That chart is the perfect example of dink & dunk. Just to be clear, this isn't necessarily all Daks fault or all Linehans fault, they probably share the blame to some degree or another.

Can we stop this nonsense? Routes are run down the field routinely. Scott Linehan isn't telling the QB to checkdown constantly. He's doing it on his own because he lacks the talent to do anything else.

Put Patrick Mahomes in that game with that same "teh scheme!", the same plays called, the same routes run and you'd see a productive passing game with plays made everywhere on the field. Put Prescott in there and you get Checkdown Charlie. One's talented, the other isn't. Scott Linehan is a fan cop out.
