Dak permanently has quieted the doubters

If Dak played horrible would you be on here saying he's horrible? No you wouldn't, so you can't expect his doubters to do a 180 after a Week 1 loss in a game in which he played great.

Dak has been elite since 2019. The question now is can he remain healthy and lead us to playoff success. He was the best quarterback on the field Thursday and put us in position to win the game. That phantom holding call on Tyron cost us the game because we would have been able to run the clock out. The CeeDee issues had more to with him being out for a few weeks. You could see through the game his timing was off with Dak. I expect big numbers from CeeDee and Cooper, hopefully that will open up the running game for Zeke and Pollard. Let’s not mess around and put Martin at guard when he comes back. Zach needs to be the right tackle for the next 5 games.

Dallas defense looked much improved last night. Our backup Dlineman just cant do much to be honest. Need to get Gallimore back and keep Jaylon off the field. These guys were making plays out there. They will get better as the season goes along.

But now teams have tape on our defense so they will know where to attack. Hopefully wright starts getting some PT over Brown and Joseph comes back.

Im starting to be convinced that we will NEVER see our 5 starters on the Oline every play together again. By the time Collins comes back from his suspension he will either be suspended again or one of the other 4 will be hurt.

I'm going on public record. I think he's an excellent QB that we can win with. If we can just get some other pieces in place. I have NEVER blamed Dak for any loss.

Who would I blame?

1) Injuries
2) Defense (for a few reasons....)
3) OC - I think we just don't have the experience and cleverness there to take advantage of things. Most especially the running game.

This is NOT a recent development.

*If* I was a hater...do you really think the Tampa game would "quiet" me? Of course not. He's had plenty of big stat games...this one is no different for people labled "haters".

I can't even give Dak praise without ya'll trying to go on the attack. I've not had a bad word to say about his play since Thursday. I've said nothing but positives about him.

It was Week 1, Dak played great, and that close loss may be equal to winning the Super Bowl for you, but I'll never be in the "moral victory" business.

I don't know what you want me to say, and I don't really care, but it's pretty sad how you guys seem more concerned about saying "I told ya so" over the fact that we literally are sitting at 0-1 regardless of who is or is not a fault. A loss is still a loss.

Dak played great and looked like an elite QB out there, and 100% did enough to win the game.

Why do you seem satisfied with just Dak playing a great game? I'm not happy that we lost, but you don't seem upset about the loss at all. You seem perfectly happy saying "I told ya so" whenever you get a chance. Even going back weeks and bringing up old posts to reply to people that doubted Dak.

That's not what it should be about. Dak played great, but Dak is not bigger than the team and the teams goals. "Moral victories" have you sitting on the couch watching the playoffs. If people want to hate on Dak's play then that's on them. Let them be wrong and let them expose themselves for what they are.
