So whichever perspective you want to look at it...be it errant throw or a WR who doesnt put his body on the line. Why play such a game (with a Safety in the vicinity)....throw to your TE/RB outs and move the chains.
That's all well and good if the TE and RB are open or not blocking and or pass rushers are not bearing down on you left or right side. It all depends what you perceive vicinity is. Quarterbacks routinely throw in close quarters, it comes down to how close, the skill set of the cornerback, safety and linebackers and how many in the vicinity. One interception particularly early in game generally doesn't lose the game for you. Besides Dak threw touchdown passes and even ran one in for a TD to nullify that interception. Points scored by that Dak interception thankfully turned into just 3 points. What about the defense that gave up almost 30 points to the Bears?

In 2016 Beasley was our top receiver with just over 830 yards. Non receivers probably made up 1/3 of total yards received. It’s a good precedent IMO.

Yep, i'm in favor of scheming for what you've got and what your players are good at. We just seem a different team when we roll the yards rather than dial up plays that highlights the play design (or QB's ability).

Someone (and I dont know who) appears to think we need to show off, personally i'd prefer to win playing a conservative game rather than losing a shoot out.

You appear to think i'm criticizing Dak? No, what i'm saying is that he looks great when he finds the short yard throw to TE/RB (EG Schultz who's always been one of his favorite targets always has, and probably always will). He's not the kind of QB that's best throwing into coverage....so why do it (and that's just as much on KM as it is Dak or CeeDee).

I agree that one interception doesnt lose a game, however, we saw the momentum change and brought the Bears back to within 5 pts. What we need to stop is this idea that we move on from what we're good (and comfortable doing)....once we reverted back to the run/short throw game we got back to dominating.

It's not blame on Dak, KM or CeeDee....just stick to our strengths.

good game. That's what you should expect from a 40 mil QB. But lets be real, he wasn't the reason the team won. The real star yesterday was Pollard.

The team had 11 3rd down conversions. Dak threw for 7 of them.

The Dak homies want Dak showered with praise today, and I will admit he had a good game. That's what you should expect from a 40 mil QB. But lets be real, he wasn't the reason the team won. The real star yesterday was Pollard.

He did.

I would like to see the All-22 on that interception throw intended to CeeDee.

I don’t know how he didn’t see the safety (Jackson) playing back. I think he just may have thought he had the arm to beat Jackson to the point. CeeDee didn’t look like he gave much effort their either from the broadcast angle.

He got cocky.......should have known better but otherwise, great game for the offense.

He started off great, threw that INT, and did basically nothing after.

I give him a C.

You want higher you're going to have to do it for 4 quarters.

Move the goal post much? good thing you dont matter much he did exactly what you have been screamimg for him to do all season and he didnt need to put up much in second half as the run game excelled

get a quick start (check)
dont try to be a hero (check)
let the run game do its its thing (check)
run when its there (check)

The interception was a dumb call so whether he audibiled into it or Kellen called it was stupid. CeeDee also kind of wimped out going for it so ill give it 50/50 blame till i have more information.

Lets face it some of you guys want the man to go 25 for 25 for 250 3 tds no picks. and I think you would find fault in that.
Ill give the man a solid B+ to A- but of course I dont matter alot either

How about the Oline? Receivers, TE's, etc? It takes a team to win a game, not one man. If our Oline isn't blocking, Pollard would not have had a good day. I gotta admit, he did look good out there. Great team effort.

I have been pretty critical of Dak, but he played better today. Of course it was against the Bears.

Let’s hope Dak can show us a few of these type of games against more elite, complete teams.

Me too. I'm not too kind to Dak either. But yesterday he showed why he is the starting QB. Minus that one ill advised pass. And don't say, just against the Bears. They are not a crap defense. Dallas O put up 42 points on them. It's games like these we usually see our offense getting off to a terrible start. The Bears D is not garbage, and we made them look like trash.

I matter enough for you to post all those letters and words that I won't even read past the bolded part though apparently.

second half strategy was different. he went 5 of 7 for 70 yards. we were running the ball a lot in second half to run out the game as we should. offense scored 14 points. we did have one 3 and out to start the quarter, but team settled down. Chicago was running the ball very effectively. yes, an average second half, but didn't need to do anything neither.

That INT is getting a lot of attention, lol.

I think Brown being out was another challenge with our WR dept.
